So do we all love him again now?

If he puts out we will love him long time

On field of course

How's that for Pascoe, 1 day back in the job and he saves us from losing Corey Thompson.

Probably the problem at the tigers...people celebrating ct resigning. Tries hard is what everyone says about him. That is the bear minimum at most clubs. If he is in cc and ready for a call up we have a good squad. If he is first choice like now...not so good

Is that what he said...

We need to improve the overall class of our squad - very very true. But that is not going to happen by upgrading every single player. Not immediate;y anyway. We need to upgrade some players but first get the money from retaining relatively cheap good value players. Thompson fits here for mine, good value (preferably either starting on the wing, or as a backup winger fullback),

Plus we stuck it up Penrith - bugger them. Good signing.

How quickly so many forget all of Corey's fantastic performances. Really happy he's sticking around. Absolute value for money.

Gotta laugh at some reactions here.
When Penrith are signing him it’s “how bad are we, we can’t even keep our own talent”
When we sign him it’s “re-signed for 2 years? We got played”

Anyways I’m glad he is staying. Onwards & upwards CT!

Ageed ...

Thoroughly deserved. A side of garlic sauce would be nice too. Just sayin...

He'll be the next to re-sign most likely.

Corey is good for Tigers standards. Not the best physically or skills wise but he tries really really hard.

And that’s all we’re looking for really. Give it your best shot but most importantly have fun.

And at the end of the day you will all get a medal for participation.

I'm the one who said we got played and i stick by that comment. Thompson was never going to Penrith. The way people go on about him on here you'd think he was the next GI ( without a speedboat ). He is a handy backup who can cover a couple of positions - should he be our No 1 FB - no way but he is because we have no one else. Should he be the first guy picked on the wing - nope - but we have no one else. I have no problem with him signing for another 2 years if the price was right - i will have a major problem if he is consistently in first grade in 2 years time.

Fair enough DP & I respect your opinion. My point is we’re damned if we do, damned if we don’t. If he earns his spot for the next two years then good on him. We could do a lot worse than a bloke who gives 100% every week.

I am glad he has signed, I hope we find a fullback and winger to force him out of the squad, but I am happy he is there for now.

Good signing plays 💯 every week.

Correct...….100% every week. Good to have you aboard for a further 2 yrs Corey:innocent:

This is a solid signing for the club going forward. In saying that i hope he isnt in our starting side by the end of his contract. Not that i think he cant do it because he has exceeded my expectations. However like others i want size badly.

In saying that he could also benefit from a bigger backline and be the one small dude that survives

Was there any evidence Penrith was ever a possibility? Sounds like the whole thing was made up, and then in the same day he's suddenly re-signed lol. Someone got their wires crossed..
