Thought this day would never come :(

Ok then

Ellis
Moors
Humble
Cashmere
Moltzen
Ayshford
Tuqiri
Heighno
Blair

With the exception of Ellis, we could afford to lose all these players and be a stronger team for it. They would also free up a heap of cash. Instead half of them will be staying and we get rid of a bloke who we do need as he plays well and has the experience to help bring the kids along that will eventually usurp him.

well if you believe what you hear cashmere, moors, humble,,heino will be all moved on

What can you do…its hard to crucify unless we know all the circumstances and what there plans are.

I feel sick…..we sign/resign players who don't give 100% and let the ones that do go.

They are using the players (and the wrong ones at that) as scapegoats in a desperate effort to lay blame on everyone else for our crap season, except for Sheens. They reward those who play like they couldn't give a toss (Moltzen, Ayshford and Blair) with extended contracts, bring back perpetual losers like Simmons, who must be the only Aussie coach that couldn't cut it in the ESL, and then get rid of players, who actually have some heart and give their best for the club each week.

If they would just get a coach who can actually motivate this team, mentally prepare them and get them playing **as a team**, with consistency, playing structure and a strong defensive line, then there might actually be something to look forward to next year. As it stands, I'm completely astounded by the way this club is being run at present, it's very discouraging.

I should say that I wouldnt let Tommy Humble go either. He always had a go but was stuffed around immensely by his coach.

Looks like the club is gearing itself up to promote some of the junior talent coming through. I'm not happy about the way this has been conducted. From the outside looking in, it appears unprofessional. Having said that, Beau and Heighno are both replaceable.

Provided David Nofoaluma knuckles down in pre-season training, I think the door opens up for him to jag the right wing spot. If Utai is still here, he'll also get a look in, but I think the plan is to bring Nofoaluma through…maybe John Grant might be worth a shot too if he sticks around and improves.

As far as Heighno goes, well we have Fulton who can play lock as well as Anasta, although Ayshford may even be a smokey. I think we'll see Heighno MKII in a year or two in Brendan Santi.

I think the plan is to suffer some short term pain for some long term gain.

you can only pick 17 players….and humble was in nsw cup when we signed him...did he get stuffed around by eels also.

Lets just sack the coach...thats the only answer thats aloud on here

willow what way is accepatable...mid season...people get sacked by sms these days...the footballers get time to find another club

Why do you so vehemently defend the coach whilst not caring when players that he has been in charge of for years are scapegoated?

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory,[3]extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[4] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[5] The noun troll may refer to the provocative message itself, as in: "That was an excellent troll you posted.
