THREE Benefits of Braith's injury

Ok I don't want to be too cynical. Anasta played well against Canberra. He is a good man to have around the training paddock and in the sheds to help the younger guys. However he has been a hand break all season, with his plodding displays.

The 3 BIG benefits I see are of his injury are

* We now have a number 6 that can be very busy and always asking questions. We just scored 9 tries against a team playing for top spot in the ladder. This was because Austin and Moses were DYNAMITE against their plodding forwards and suspect wide defence.

* However the biggest benefit is we are back to the 4 prop rotation. When Potts decided to stick with the hand brake he decided to compromise what worked so well because he knew Austin was too good to leave out of the team. We belted the Dogs up front today.

* We now have a right side attack. The right winger scored 4 tries today, 3 of them virtually untouched!! This then takes eyes off Brooks and co on the left. Its a huge domino effect.

For those that were saying Potts was eventually going to phase Anasta out for Austin I highly doubt it. This injury might have saved our season.

Couldn't agree more.
Braith had an OK game but he's not the man for the job.
So much more dynamic without him in the team.

Simona still relatively quiet though.

Options all over the field.
Brooks wasn't targetted as much either 'cos they didn't know what was next.

We completed our sets and did not give away silly penalties and played direct. Do that and you will win more games than you loose. As for Braith, we now have a 6 who is a second quicker in everything he dose and that creates space for other players

Our right side winger got 4 tries, enough said.

Spot on 851\. I was at the game today and our right side flowed so well. Austin was great at feeding the ball to the flanks, but I do think he dummied and ran himself a few too many times which is great to see halves taking on the line but I do think it became a little predictable, but he certainly was solid.

Moses floated into the backline as the link man brilliantly in attack.

I would like to see Brooks play both sides of the field more though.
