Three into Two doesn't go

I just do not get it,Farah,Balin and Cherrington,so who misses out. Farah has made it clear he is going nowhere and holds a contract for another two years,so why in hell would we sign Balin. You would not play Balin and Farah and you have to give Cherrington game time to keep him interested.

As a football team we have plenty of weaknesses but the no9 is not one of them so Taylor brings another 9 to the club….in a word madness

In effect the club now has four hookers of first grade standard - Balin, Farah, Cherrington and Halatau. They also have a very promising young hooker who played U20's this year. I could make a hooker joke but I won't.

3 into 2 goes 0.666; 9x3=27 which is how many minutes of football I'll reckon I'll get through in March before I'm back posting how much I hate NRL….

I reckon that it's a depth signing to cover for possible injuries.

If we are short of depth it certainly ain't in the hooker department. Where else would Balin play, full back, wing , centre or prop forward?

Farah has been told he is no longer required by the club, unfortunately until the penny finally drops he is going to be around. There is only 2 not 3 Farahs footprint at the club has been removed I really do not see the reasoning behind the stubborn stance to stay somewhere your not wanted considering he has been told he will get his money. This is going to be a messy situation with Ayoub feeding the media .

Odds shortening that Robbie may not be in the top 25?
Was Reddy right?

Snake all the club has to do is pay his contract out and they part ways. Surely our head of football operations knows this you would think? Farah has every right to stay put until this happens.

It's more likely the odds are shortening that Taylor won't be coach shortly. For goodness sake, he is so far out of his depth with the media it is embarrassing,

This was one of a few issues I mentioned to Pascoe in the members feedback

Do you think Balin would sign a deal for two years to be third in line ?..I doubt it.My biggest gripe is we held all the aces,we had a player that another club wanted and we released a contracted player without really getting anything out of it,just like Austen and to a lesser extent Koro.
Our only hope now is we may have some cap space to grab a souths reject when they resign Big Sam, but I really can not see us in the market place for any quality players,it's not our go

He fits that spot already he has an acl injury and at his age he is only a maybe player cant believe we have wasted money on him.he is worse that what we already have and not as good as what we have coming.Total waste of money :rant

i think top 25 is basically your 25 highest paid players in the club- unless they have a nsw cup contract. robbie is not on a nsw cup contract so im guessing we'll be playing with a top 24 next season if robbie plays nsw cup.

Balin is probably a freebe. Thrown in as a thank you for releasing Kapow early.

Ballin is contracted with Manly for 16' and `17' the two seasons we have allegedly got him for, this means manly will obviously be paying the majority of his contract for us.

good point, not too bad if thats the case.

assuming farah is leaving. frees up a tonne of space, i'd rather ballin on say 200k on the cap (manly pays an extra couple hundred grand) and cherrington on 100k than Farah on 1 million a year.

could buy a VERY impressive 2nd rower for 650-700k, better than Taupau imo. Very destructive and love his playing style but a more well rounded and 60minute player (esp. with the game speeding up in 2016) could go well

Farah has a contract and if he leaves the club will pay the 2.1 million or so owing to him. I can't see how the club would be in a position to buy any player since Farah's salary is included in the cap.

If an NRL club buys Farah then they need to pay him a reasonable amount to count on their salary cay. That amount will come off our cap.
