Ticketing Sales Delays

Thats no delay. When I bought tix to the pj20 festival, in the usa last year, it took me 9 hrs to get through on their website to purchase tickets. 9 hrs of constantly pushing f5.

I hope it was worth it…..

Mate, best concert I have ever been to, or will ever go to. Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell on stage together was worth the cost of entry, flights and accomodation and that was only 1 song in over 6 hrs of pearl jam over 2 nights.

The pearl jam site is notorious for crashing during ticket sales. Some people spent longer on there and missed out on Tix and had to try again the next day.

Like I mentioned in the other thread with innsaneink when there is a big event going on sale and thousands of people are all going online at the same time there will inevitably be delays. The sites don't "crash". Best thing to do is go online while pressing redial on your phone and getting a mate to wait at a ticketing booth so you're essentially doing 2/3 things at once which maximisers your chances of getting through- same deal with Grand Final tickets etc.

I used to work for a big ticketing company and delays are inevitable when it hits 9am or whenever an event is on sale.
