Tiger Ratings

It just seems that some cant stand Farah getting credit for a good game and have to equate it to Brooks's less than impressive performance - even if Brooks doesnt play that badly.
Farah is a short term solution on borrowed time. As soon as we start losing he will be under pressure to hold his position.
Brooks on the other hand has had a charmed run, and that doesnt look like changing anytime soon regardless of who plays inside or outside him.

I for one, have not liked Farah for a good few years now, nor cheered him on as an individual during that time, but happy to support his selection as long as I think he contributes more than he detracts. If he can carry similar form from Saturday on to dry tracks, then I will pick him in my team lists, even if I wish another was there.

You’re both right. I should have said there wasn’t a TA

Yeah no TA to Brooks there, he had nothing to do with it. That try was my highlight of the night though as it showed exactly how we can capitalise on the strengths of our forwards. Packer and Mats are two of the best at getting quick PTB's and we now have them staggered so we should have that option on the field for 80 minutes. If we start getting Mikaele and Twal charging in on the back of those quick PTB's - especially if they're sweeping behind the ruck - then that's going to be hard to defend. Throw in the fullback sweeping to the opposite side and we'd be asking the defence to make a lot of adjustments very quickly and give Robbie 3 options…Much more innovative than anything we were trying last season with our middle forwards.

My highlight as well, though seeing big Ryan and Thomas debut were high on the list. It was a simply constructed play that was executed to perfection.

Also noticed Elijah's run and play the ball speed, plus a bit of ball playing returning, which was more in line with Jason Taylor's use of him and works a lot better for mine.

off the back of a very quick ptb by Matts.

…and with a very good decoy run by Twal. It was a well constructed try.

It was heavenly to watch multiply times. Before I checked out the reserves I was expecting/ hoping that Liddle would come on half time thereabouts and slice through them when they were buggered. But no hooker on the bench seems the way to go.

Geo it wasn’t Brooks with the try assists

It was the other bloke wearing the 7 jersey

Sometimes your so daft

The flukey kick was one and was credited with the Garner TRY even though Marshall threw the last pass Brooks feigned to throw it to the decoy runner and out the back to Marshall..it's a Supercoach thing…

One was a fluke where one of his many kicks that didnt make it through the line rebounded into open space and Farah fell on it. The second try was a well timed Marshal pass to Garner and the third was a solo effort after a quick play the ball caught them on their heels.
Hardly an impressive playmaking game from him

What other option do you have. he is clearly our best number 9\. The other guy is continually injured.

I agree. He is a running 5/8 by nature. If we had only used he and Moses correctly a couple of years ago, how different could our fortunes have been?
