I read the comments about Brooks possibly getting overcalled by Marshall / Farah and people blaming Brooks

What do you want Brooks to do …get in a push and shoving match on field with Farah and or Marshall

I didn't see anything on Saturday ...but last season we saw the frustration with Brooks when it happened

I think we might see a difference this season ....some coaches might have be intimidated by Marshall and Farah , Madge won't be

Madge will look at the videos and will put it on them

It needs to be his team, he needs to own it. hes far too good of a player to let those two oldies dictate our play. but he seems afraid to do it!

does he need to get into a slinging match with RF or Benji? no.

i just wish he would be like a Munster, or Widdop, even a milford, they continuously want the ball, they go looking for it, they demand it. why cant he? or at least show us that trait, because it doesnt look like it when i watch the games…..

The last thing the entire team needs to see is Brooks going off because he hasn't been given the ball when he asked for it

That would be a situation the coach handles , he sticks a hooker on the bench and the 1st time it happens he tells the trainer and Madge pulls whoever the culprit is off for the match

Brooks biggest problem is that he has rarely had the opportunity to play behind a consistent dominant pack - which has limited his opportunity far more than anyone who has played inside or outside him.

No it didnt.
Those three were rewarded with Dally Ms they didnt deserve. During their primes if their team won they scored points irrespective of how they played…Joey and JT in particular. Brooks experienced this last year himself.

Yep he needs to pull them both aside and in no uncertain terms lay down the law that they are cease winning us matches immediately and give the ball to Luke.

Pity he wasn't here for that semi in 2011

We beat a depleted Manly and we had a massive possession advantage in the 2nd half

Lot harder games for them to prove themselves in to come

If Kev had given Johns and Thurston some tips on playing in the halves they would have been much better players. Luckily for us he can tell us where Brooks is going wrong on a daily basis.
