I can tell you they both trialled at Roosters whether they were spotted by Arthur Beetson and brought to Roosters unsure Would you believe David trialled as a winger ??Scary thought

They were Penriff juniors. Grew up in Blacktown from memory.

Well there was a story in last years RLW that they were spotted by Beetson at trials 4 Roosters and they basically did a three way interview between Andrew , Artie and the interviewer . Reason why I remember it so vividly because I was trying to picture David as a winger and for the life of me could not .Also remember them stating that one of the brothers at the time was 130 kgs .

In any case as far as I know, I don't think there is a junior exemption. There is a long-serving player allowance but even that is pretty miniscule if I'm reading the NRL salary cap rules page correctly…

At least we don't have to worry about Parramatta. Nobody wants to go there and even their own players, Joel Reddy want out. Must be a happy place to be around NOT.

I agree with other people's comments that Penrith with their financial problems are not a club you want to go to. Cronulla will never win a premiership so they would be a waste of time.

Woods playing under the Australian coach would assist his career. I wish Galloway got the call up over SHillington and Snowden. Big Red has been on fire this year.

Lui, Ayshford, Fifita & BMM arent Tiger Juniors…

Woods is a must keep (has a great workload like Bull Bailey/Petro 50calitre), Begovich again a must keep (this guy reminds me of a young Webke)... Then following this generation, we have Groat and he could be anything, even likely a staring role in the next Hulk Movie?

I have no problems offloading Fifita and BMM.... They will get bigger offers than they are worth and we shouldnt compete to keep them.

The club rate BMM very highly, if not moreso than Woods. They'll fight to keep him.

I know but I cant be stuffed typing it….

Safe to say McDonnell and Sheens identified the talent in the likes of Lui Fifita Woods Dwyer Ashsford Moltzen BMM even Benji before they came into grade and made sure they came through our systems be it Keebra Campbelltown Leichhardt or the NYC...they are Wests Tiger juniors.....

No one has left the Club that Sheens has wanted to keep to my memory...hell he even gets some back....Skando Fitzy Moodie...2012...Richards??????

Richards, it would be interesting to see how he stacks up in the NRL again. Last I heard he was doing well in the ESL.
