Tigers and Storm Player Loan Swap

Cool, I'd hate to lose him.

The whole thing sounds like it's going to go ahead though. Very interesting idea to say the least.

Helps out both clubs and the players will benefit from the experience.

I'm a bad judge. I dont and have never rated Momo.

Credit where its due, he had some reasonable games toward the end of last year and then pulls out some token rep selection. Good Luck to him.

But seriously, he is barely a first grader.

The guy was picked for the PMs 13 last year, scored 8 tries in 12 matches. A record much, much better than any other player in our squad, but yeah. Jog on...

I doubt we'd be extending him right now if he was playing for us this year. With that in mind, I don't think extending him just to get the deal over the line is that wise.

Unpopular opinion: I agree with this. He's an average footballer who played a couple decent games and went over for some tries at the end of the season, primarily to good half play. I think people get carried away in general with a couple good and/or bad performances.

On the other side of the coin, i think someone like Jennings has much more potential but had a rough year adjusting. He has the potential, we saw it at Souths and at Penrith before that. Some players have rough transitions for one reason or another and i expect Jennings to have a massive year this year.

I agree with you 100%.

Pascoe in his interview seemed confident that this would happen...even corrected himself from if to when which found interesting..

Grant is contracted to the Storm until end of 2022...Momirovski after a year down there an extension till then would be OK by me..

I'm happy with Momo instead of Jennings leaving.

What do you mean Geo? A 1 year extension in lieu of this years?

I think Momo is a great footballer. The key word there is a footballer, I do not think that he is a great athlete (speed strength etc), but he reads a game very well, gets in good positions and through that was our highest tryscorer last year. Jennings, Mbye, Masters were playing similar positions, but did not do as much.

He definitely is not a fullback though.

No I mean extending Momirovski till 2022 both players are still contracted to the Wests Tigers and Storm respectively..I think he would improve even further in the Storm system...

Agree ...
If he played in the 80’s he’d have been a Gun

Bellamy might break him ..could end up in Reggie’s ?

It will be interesting. I would rate him above Seve & Olam based on what I have seen, and they look like the incumbent Melbourne centres.

Suggest Tigers still have approx.$400,000 to $500,00 still in cap.Can this be carried over to next season? I know we must sign one more to fill the 30 quota but this could be done cheaply by upgrading a development player. With 4 players not on contract next year it could give us close to a mill to purchase a marque player such as JAC or another centre or fullback. Is this possible?

Any "unused" cap will be used up by bringing payments forward.
