God Noffa gets a lot of hate around here.

He is a senior member of the team and a big contributor to our failures, yet gets rewarded with a huge contract.
People are right to expect a raised level from him.

Nofa's another bloke whose best and worst are at either ends of the universe ......year before contract time ....

Every time he touches the ball , I poo myself ...run hard ...run straight ...it ain't rocket biology

I hear you. In his contract year when Benji went looking for him every time we went into the oppositions 20, many fans here wanted his contract increased because he was the poster boy of our club. Our Chairman, who admits to knowing nothing about rugby league was adamant that he should be playing SoO. To further prove his ignorance, he accused Fittler of being anti WT. ? I think that was before he tried to make the changes on Aloai’s job description to include lawn care. ?
All the talk about moving the coach on or replacing a player, seems like a distraction from the real problems. The back office team may be happy with their individual performances , but are the 400,000 fans?

Review???

should be gutted not to be training all week leading up to a big game. But no life is good.
This club needs winners.

Are we taking the piss here? He's worked hard all season and deserves time off.

Time off? RL season is still going! The wests tigers are off work because we aren't good enough. NRL told them don't come monday, we are just going to role with the good teams. Haven't been good enough for 10 years.
But life is good.
Should be dirty with another wasted year. Teddy use to post pictures when at the tigers....never posted one like that at the roosters...
At least he is honest. The day memberships are released for next year, he reminds us our guys are on holiday while the winners are being decided.

Because he deserves it, carried on like a princess to get his contract, then plays like a flog for the season.

The word flog is starting to lose all meaning on here. How do you play like a flog? Unless you’re a Latrell type and are a cheap shot merchant. How is the term flog applicable to Noffa on the field?

I wish he did play like Latrell, you're interpretation is different to mine, but both describe players who don't seem to care about their actions on the field?

Brooks must be happy, Nofo is the punching bag at the moment. Okay he had a crap season, along with most other players on the roster, but he is entitled to put his feet up and chill out, like any other player on our roster

Does anyone else not give a rats about the Rorters or is it just me...

Actually out of all the top clubs I admire them. Tend to keep it to myself though when Im not telling everyone on a public forum.

Any other club and people would be behind them atm given how brave they have been with their injuries. I think they will be the team to beat next year.

So when they have a team of also rans and youngsters with little game time they get belted from pillar to post. Playing roster reminds me of another team that gets slammed for such inept performances.

Those also rans got them to the second week of the finals. Same can’t be said for that other club of also rans.

If indeed the coaches departure is announced, you should coincide the announcement of his replacement to turn the inevitable negative into a major positive
Selection process and negotiations take time, particularly if its a coach still in a job

That would be the only reason because you would have to think a decision has already been made by both the club and Ciraldo. Ciraldo has stated he won't discuss anything whilst penriff are still in the running however privately you would have to think he has already given us an answer one way or the other. If its a no why wait to announce that Madge is staying on or that we have signed one of the Super League coaches.

This is what gets me. Even with all the injuries they still had Teddy Crichton Radley and Tupenoa.-and get smashed. We currently don't have players of that calibre any week. And some still think we underachieved. Add those 4 players to our squad and most of our fans would have us top 4 bound yet for the Roosters it is their weakest team and the reason why they did not go further.
If we sack a coach based on the results of this current squad any credibilty we had as far as effecting change is almost laughable imo.

The players on the sideline got them to where they are - they now have a roster no better than ours and their performance was pretty similar.

Agree.
But don't post this while the season is still going. After the GF no problem, but right now you look like a happy loser

The Roosters did still have some stars, however JWH, Radley, Crichton, Teddy etc all missed games during the year for various reasons on top of their injury toll.
That side last night were exhausted because they busted their backsides to make the finals. THAT is the difference between their also rans and us. Our squad did not excert the required effort to win on many occasions this year.

Too many people whipping themselves into a frenzy over Nofa IMO.

He’s a winger. Whether he stays or he leaves it wouldn’t have a major impact on our position on the ladder.

Correct, the Roosters looked physically spent. As much as I hate to say it, the way they dealt with adversity this year was pretty amazing. They had plenty of reasons to give up but kept finding another way to move forward. This is the polar opposite of our beloved club where time after time setbacks are met with capitulation.

I can’t handle the suspense. Not knowing what Pascoe and Lee will do next is leading to a lot of speculation about the review.
My best guess is the review is finished, because if they have their finger on the pulse they would already have opinions, based on the answer to 3 questions.
1. Where are we now?
2. Where do we want to go?
3. What is the best way to get there?
It would come as no surprise that the last question has them stumped. They are waiting on an answer, possibly in the form of a personnel change. Another bandaid.

Which players? Morris, Keary, Collins, Cordner and Friend who were gone the majority of the year?

Cordner - Didn’t play a game
Friend - 47 minutes of round 1
Keary - ACL in round 3
Collins - ACL round 8
Morris - ACL round 8

So who were the players on the sideline who got them where they were?
