Why is it that the wests get 2 people on the new board, but balmain get 2 and independent 3? Now I can understand the independents having 3 to be able to overrule one faction or another. But I find it completely unfair that balmain keep equal share with wests, they are the ones that needed the handout not wests.
It should be 3 independent, 3 wests, 1 balmain or something like that to be fair. Until balmain are able to pay their way.

With the Balmain directors not having any voting rights until a $4 million loan is repaid to the NRL, the board will be controlled by the three NRL appointed directors.

why should he wait for an offer that may not eventuate.
He needs to look after his future as well.

A bit outside the square, but if the board was to collect all applications for a head coaching position then put the applications to the senior players for a final vote, there could be no further dissent. And having signed up a coach, the contract should be honoured full term - not ripped up on a whim because the poor bugger lost three games in a row, or whatever. Sad to say, but the game now lacks integrity - we have signed up Potter - support him while he is under contract, and re-assess his position only when his contract has expired. For goodness sake - contracts used to mean something!

But as a side note it is good to see that we will lose total control of the board for ever, because balmain could not pay their half. THAT'S FAIR!!! :brick:

Probably right after the way the club has broadcast its condemning report on him detailing all his supposed shortcomings

I think a lot of experienced judges can see through all the malarkey and would look at Potter as a possible replacement at their club if required

Because we know it's almost certainly a board member going by interviews. So I asked you:
- Who is at the top of the board?
- Who has managed to remain fairly silent through all this in dems of at least 'being named'
- Why would he come out and say he doesn't know if the new board will be able to make decision on the coach?

All very suspicious to me.

Hence 'most likely' majority owner of WT in next few years.
