Nah….they, the NRL Commies, want a Team based in Greater Western Sydney,at the moment thats is us but that doesn't mean they won't try a Western Sydney Wanders project in the future if we disintergrate.,

Why is it that the wests get 2 people on the new board, but balmain get 2 and independent 3? Now I can understand the independents having 3 to be able to overrule one faction or another. But I find it completely unfair that balmain keep equal share with wests, they are the ones that needed the handout not wests.
It should be 3 independent, 3 wests, 1 balmain or something like that to be fair. Until balmain are able to pay their way.

Did you miss this part of the article….

With the Balmain directors not having any voting rights until a $4 million loan is repaid to the NRL, the board will be controlled by the three NRL appointed directors.

LOL
Thats been like… soooooo common knowledge for like.... soooooo long..LOL

I would find it very ironic, if Mick Potter signs with another club before the end of the season.
why should he wait for an offer that may not eventuate.
He needs to look after his future as well.
would be very satisfying to watch him become very successful with another team, and the hierachy at wests-tigers, be extremely embarrassed.

Don't wish it TAH. What I'd love would be Tigers sack him & NRL employ him on the Tigers board as the coaching advisor. Karma

Signing with another club  He has a better chance of winning lotto.

A bit outside the square, but if the board was to collect all applications for a head coaching position then put the applications to the senior players for a final vote, there could be no further dissent. And having signed up a coach, the contract should be honoured full term - not ripped up on a whim because the poor bugger lost three games in a row, or whatever. Sad to say, but the game now lacks integrity - we have signed up Potter - support him while he is under contract, and re-assess his position only when his contract has expired. For goodness sake - contracts used to mean something!

Sorry but didn't see the first post!
Settle down willow, u keyboard warrior. Abit touchy aren't u.
Relax…..
That's right only your opinion matters, maybe we should ask u what we should post??
Knob
I did not see the first post, my mistake, comments were totally justified though as for what their post states!
But as a side note it is good to see that we will lose total control of the board for ever, because balmain could not pay their half. THAT'S FAIR!!! :brick:

Probably right after the way the club has broadcast its condemning report on him detailing all his supposed shortcomings

I think a lot of experienced judges can see through all the malarkey and would look at Potter as a possible replacement at their club if required

Ironic isn't it. I don't think members/fans are convinced that the current board is qualified to make the call either.

It's starting to sound like Bailey is a big part of all this off-field nonsense.

How?

Because we know it's almost certainly a board member going by interviews. So I asked you:
- Who is at the top of the board?
- Who has managed to remain fairly silent through all this in dems of at least 'being named'
- Why would he come out and say he doesn't know if the new board will be able to make decision on the coach?

All very suspicious to me.

If Balmain cannot re-pay debt within 2 years, Wests group (Ashfield) have first and last right to 'buy out' all or majority of Balmain's share in WT Pty Ltd.

Hence 'most likely' majority owner of WT in next few years.

Question WTFL ??

If the most likely happens , would they also buy out Balmains voting rights on the WT's board ??

( and this isn't reason to start a 19 page fight over the Balmain v Wests garbage )

Oh god. I hope for the same of WT that balmain can pay their debts off or maybe WESTS can help out a little. It's not a win for WT if one side goes broke

Will these 3 NRL directors be dismissed when we pay off our debt? I got a feeling if worst comes to worst harry T will help balmain out.

Neither side would survive without the other. The JV needs to remain as is.

If he keeps up this type of garbage such as personally attacking an administrator then he won't be around much longer.
