If Balmain cannot re-pay debt within 2 years, Wests group (Ashfield) have first and last right to 'buy out' all or majority of Balmain's share in WT Pty Ltd.

Hence 'most likely' majority owner of WT in next few years.

Yes they will. 3 x NRL independents will also be in place. Effectively, Balmain FC will no longer part WT.

I will make it very clear: Majority Ashfield ownership DOES NOT mean WT dissolves or that WT reverts to Wests Magpies. WT is here to stay, ownership likely to change.

Will these 3 NRL directors be dismissed when we pay off our debt? I got a feeling if worst comes to worst harry T will help balmain out.

No isn't the whole idea that the NRL directors will have casting vote? Rather than the current situation of Balmain and Wests rotating it?

Maybe it's just me but I have more faith in those the NRL appoint to make the decisions than any of the incompetents from Balmain or Wests.

Hopefully this new board make up is a god send to us all. Decisions made for the good of the club, not for the good of whichever sides dinosaurs have their panties in a twist that week.
