In a full strength team , I'd take Moses over Austin any day . Austin is too erratic . I've watched Austin play for Penrith , Windsor & now us . When a team has under performed like we have this year anyone that has half a go will stand out (Austin) . I'd still like to keep Austin as a utility value but Moses is the first choice at 5/8 IMO .

I don't get the logic. If Austin has stood out this year, above Moses, why would the start of next year be any different?

I like what i see in Moses in just a handful of games so far . His combination with brooks will only improve . I think Austin has a poor passing game & I'm not that much of a fan ! As I said any player that makes half an effort in this team is going to stand out !
If tedesco stays fit and Farah stops having a sook I see no place for Blake in our spine IMO .

Brooks with Tedesco had 8 try assists from 8 games. Without Tedesco his only had 5 try assists from 12 games.

Tedesco, Brooks and Moses are best mates. Tedesco hasn't played in the same team as Moses yet but I get the feeling his combination with Moses will be even better than what we have seen so far with him and Brooks.

What some of you may not know is that Tedesco, Brooks and Moses are like brothers and the 3 of them together will be something very special.

Austin is a utility and a good one at that but if he doesn't like that role then OK enjoy Canberra.

That's great to hear Irvine ….so our future lies with 3 rookies that are prone to injury with a club that has the worst S & C and rehab department in the NRL....

Then if Austin can't break through we trade him off to the Raiders for whatever player or position we need at the time before the June 30 deadline

Either way having competition for the 6 jersey will be good and the other player can come off the bench to add some spark when needed

Yep . mad to be giving promises of positions at this stage, lots can happen between now and then.

Blake Austin is too good a player to let go to another team. A good team has depth in case it is struck by injuries during the season. Remember how we thought that we were definitely semi's bond this year until Tedesco became injured and we fell apart because we didn't have a player of first grade ability to replace him?

Yep….if you trade all your players out you end up playing the likes of Patterson on the wing, Akoula on the wing......thats not a way to be a competative footy side.

On the plus side the starting players missing today;

Makes a big diff to any backline.
