Now he is on Nein News saying today is the worst day since the '89 Grand Final loss. Strangely he overlooked the day Balmain Leagues Club was sold for $1\. I thought that was a worse day for WT than a loss 11 years before they existed.

Here is a thought…
I'm not sure of how well positioned the club is in saying something like the following, but It would be nice to here this or something along the lines.
Let me preface this by saying I grew up as a casual follower of tigers since I lived across the bay. But my interest piqued in around 2003 and became a staunch wests tigers supporter.

West tigers would like to make the following comment in regards to the opinions expressed about the state of the club.
Whilst we respect and honour the beginning of our joint venture being based on 2 foundation clubs and members of the teams that they comprised.
The opinions of individuals that represented these two clubs do not in anyway reflect the same views and opinions that of the Wests tigers.
We have been a new club since 2000 and are rounding up nearly 20 years. Legends of the foundation clubs are completely entitled to their views as outsider opinions and only the statements made by our club administration are to be considered as fact.

I know writing this sounds like a bit of hogwash but I would love in some diplomatic way the club could tell Benny or anyone else for that matter to bug off, they are not Wests Tigers legends they are has been from a former club...
