I wonder if there are any outside "interested parties" with grand plans & fat wallets watching & waiting to see how the Balmain/Wests Tigers situation unfolds over the coming months or years.

If you are one of these, I'm sure you have the right to see that, and if not bring that point up at an AGM so it can be explained and discussed.

Very few care about the old entitys......in 5 or 7 years time the junior rep teams will likely be WTs too...
Who wnats to be a member of a club whos teams are high school kids, most of us will or have been there at some stage as parents, wether it be RL or whatever other pursuits the kids follow....and believe me you have to pay THEN

I don't have answers about the financial situation of WT, but that is because I don't ask questions about it. I understand where Balmain are at financially, and I can somewhat take from that the situation of WT. The problem it seems is that you expected everything as a Wests Football Club member to be handed to you, rather than asking a simple question. If you asked the question and gave due warning (7 days I think), then they are legally obligated to provide you with this information.
And I don't understand where you get the 'I'm stuck in the past' perception from either. I may be a Balmain member who keeps up with the junior representative teams and State Cup, but as I've stated previously first and foremost I'm a WT supporter. I want the Balmain members of the WT board to make decisions in the best interests of WT and their future, and I trust them to do that (unlike some people on here it seems who I'm taking a punt haven't ever met or spoken to any of the people they so openly and easily criticise).
For the record I'm not a WT member as I work weekends, but I do purchase merchandise and other things from the club, and attend functions where I can.

i like heritage, but not when it causes division. THIS is causing division.

that's just my opinion and many oldies and maybe many young un's will disagreee though.. but i just wish it was this way :frowning:

Although Im a big advocate for moving forward and support a single NSW cup team known as WT, I still acknowledge the Balmain and Magpies eras as being part of the clubs history. I have great memories of the likes of Pearce, Roach and Sironen running around for Balmain and they are the reason I started supporting the WT, im sure it is the sam for Magpies fans who have memories of Tommy Raudankis, Les Boyd the Coggers and alike and see them as part of the club.
it is difficult for some to cut that past away, and personally I dont think we need to move forward.

I'm WT all the way, I support the merger of the two clubs at FG, State and Toyota Cup levels but why shouldn't be a little recognition for the Magpies and Balmain? You think the JV just happened? Two teams made sacrifices to make this club what it is. There's a huge difference between paying homage to the past and living in it.
Its a balancing act that we haven't yet perfected. We are now 1 club and we need to act like it, while still honouring the history of the 2 clubs that came before us.
I am a Balmain supporter, but from my perspective (non Sydney resident) we have overlooked Wests too much. Fans of other NRL sides have agreed when I asked them, the same situation exists for Dragson/Steelers.

I am also a former Balmain fan and I too agree that Wests dont get the respect they deserve in this joint venture.For crying out loud Ryde Eastwood have been given more respect so I dont understand watto when he talks about a tigers bias like its a conspiracy when its a fact.Im a proud fan of the tigers and now the WESTS Tigers and in order to move forward we need to acknowledge what both sides of the jv bring.Difference between St george and the steelers is one team has 90 years history and the other 30 years whereas in this merger both have over 100 years history but for some reason some people still like to treat Wests like second class citizens.
