Fat chance of signing both of them. I’d happily settle for one.

Can't see us beating the All Blacks for his signature. Every Kiwi kid dreams of playing for the All Blacks at some stage in their life.

We have the cap room for both in 2018 and 2019\. Assuming we have 750k left over from this year Grant, Kev, Marshall, Lawrence, Brooks and Sue being let go would provide plenty of cap space along with others to resign players and get two marquee players in. We are not the Roosters though seem to struggle with big name players.

Maybe in the past but with N Cleary a 80% chance of coming, why wouldn't you want to come if you were RTS?

1\. RTS
2\. Nofo
3\. Suli
4\. Tui
5\. Milne
6\. Reynolds
7\. Cleary
8\. Packer
9\. Liddle
10\. Twal
11\. McQueen
12\. Aloiai
13\. Huth
14\. Taylor
15\. Matulino
16\. Sue
17\. Marsters

Tasty!

Tuivasa-Sheck in demand

The Wests Tigers are set to enter the battle to sign Warriors and Kiwi Test ace Roger Tuivasa-Sheck for 2019.
Still filthy at losing star fullback James Tedesco to the Roosters, the Tigers have identified Tuivasa-Sheck as the ideal man to replace him.
WWOS revealed last week that Tuivasa-Sheck is not happy at the Warriors, with Souths showing interest in him once his contract expires at the end of the upcoming season.

\
The All Blacks have also expressed a desire to sign the quick-stepping fullback and will make him a handsome offer to switch codes.
Tigers coach Ivan Cleary is likely to start 2018 with another former Warrior, Tui Lolohea, at fullback, but there are concerns he lacks the maturity and experience for such a key position.
The versatile Lolohea is a class act - but the Tigers know he is better suited to either centre or wing, hence their interest in Tuivasa-Sheck.

Wonder how Lolohea would feel about that , stuck behind the same player that replaced him at the Warriors and the main reason he left

I reckon as long as he's still in first grade he won't be too upset. Cause don't forget, he wasn't just playing in his non-preferred position, he was also playing it in reserve grade.

I guess I can't see the use of signing a bloke mid season and then risk losing him 18 months later , its not like the EPL where you have to worry about getting demoted to a lower league

I guess wouldn't you have saved the money for a marquee signing instead of some tiny short term gain

I dont know how you can say N Cleary is an 80% chance of coming to us,unless you have inside information.Hope you are right though

He could very well be an 80% chance of not coming to us. The appeal of not playing under his father could be there. And anyone naive enough to think the Roosters won’t make a play when Cronk will have just retired has rocks in their heads.

Roosters might have a play at N Cleary, but M Morgan is off contract at the same time as well. I also believe they will have a big go at Mansour and with the addition of Crichton along with all the star players they currently have on their books, surely they can't be left with much cash to go after Cleary or Morgan. But then again, they don't have a salary cap…

Cleary being 80% chance to come here and even having a chance of getting both him and RTS is hyperbole.

I honestly just want to see us develop our squad over time. If we get a marquee signing great but if we do I'd like to see that signing as a proven game winner like Morgan for instance or in a position we really need to improve.

Wests Tigers interest may wane if Lolohea starts the season all guns blazing in the fullback role. If RTS does sign with the Tigers we will certainly have a number of ex warriors players on the books as well as an ex warriors coach!!

Some Kiwis in Squad = good
Too many Kiwis in Squad = Not Good
