Tigers looking to buy back-up

Mick Wheyman fron St Geroge???

People are losing their minds over how many games Galloway plays each year….Weyman is on average a fair bit worse.

Got a feeling their could be a few dogs leaving the kennel at the end of the season, might be just me, but I think the Barba things has left a few deep wounds in the place and while Greenberg smoothed things over outside the club, I still think their are plenty of issues within the club. As I said might be just me, but the body language at Belmore dosnt look good

Supposedly two forwards want out NOW

In RLW To-Day Tigers say they have 5 or 6 players in mind including wait for it, Joel Clinton, to help with depth this year.

Oh geez, what a fascinating predicament we're in here. Honestly. If Joel Clinton was signed, that would have to mean that no current props were available within the nrl. The ONLY reason I would take Clinton is in that scenario that he is the last man standing. His experience would be good but how effective would he be? Definitely just need 20 mins out of him a game.

The 5 or 6 props i gathered were for this year, obviously they would only sign 1 or 2, probably 1 prop for this year.

Very hard to comprehend or believe this statement. How much money have Wests Tigers available to buy 5 or 6 player to play with the club this year? Maybe the club is off to the Easter Show to buy sample bags which contain NRL player cards.

I believe it's implying they have 5-6 players who they are considering. They wil most likely only but one, maybe two of them

So the 5 6 players is for next year ??

No this year, and yes Clinton is one,but we are not buying 5 or 6 players, that is the list to pick from, one is all we will get,and Farah has supposedly said he would welcome a player of Clinton's calibre.
But I would love to get Tolman or Kassiano,Eastwood is too inconsistent, and maybe not what we need, although you wouldn't knock him back at the right price.

Joel Clinton is 31 years old and 105 kgs.

Played 241 NRL/Super League games and 3 SOO and 1 for Australia.

Currently playing for the Mackay Cutters in the QLD Clup.

For a short term solution and would be available now at a decent price I would welcome him.

One year contract and a second year in our favour.

Aiden Tolman would top my list for next year. Played in winning teams and very solid player.

Eastwood can be a lazy player but would be a great impact player off the bench.

Joel Clinton would be a fantastic player - brings a wealth of experience and quality to the squad in a position with lots of young guys

Tolman is a workhorse and I wouldnt want him at the club - he wouldn't bring much IMO.

Eastwood would provide some real strike power for the tigers and given he was 2nd row in the grand final team last year he is already a step above our boys

Joel Clinton is struggling in Q Cup.The tiges didn't want Tolman last year(cost to much) but I have been told that the Tiges have enquired about Scott Anderson ( don't know if it is for this year or next) but their is not a lot out there & it will be worse if anything comes out the ASADA dealings.
