Tigers Lui eyes Cowboys return

Remember where u read it first guys

Bang on again, thanks for the info, are we looking at bringing another player in,be it halfback or any position with the cash,or do we still need to shed a player.

This is old news imo considering his mrs was talking about being back in qld on facebook months ago.

Why does it have to come up before a big game?

I don't want Lui to leave. A lot of people on here have bagged him throughout the year, but his defence is improving each week and I reckon he is developing into a fine half back. He is dangerous in attack and he works very well with Marshall and Farah. He was awesome for us in the finals last year and will probably be pivotal for us again this year, so at the end of the year, he will have had 2 full seasons of first grade football, plus finals, experience under his belt. Why are we letting someone like that go? WT have spent so much time developing him over this 2 years and now it appears they are happy to start from scratch again next year with someone new in the half back position!! This makes no sense at all. Bugger homesickness, WT management should be trying everything in their power to keep Lui here!

wt need to hire a hypnotist. get him hypnotised that he loves sydney and that he doesnt want to live in qld. also that he can tackle like trevor gillmeister and attack like alfie langer

You would have to think that after letting Moltzens go the chances of them letting Lui go would be very slim.I like the look of young Miller but I tjink he needs another season.

Now for left field, we could let Lui go and get a new hooker and move Robbie to 1/2 back, would free Robbie from all that defence work, and get him running the ball. Lets face it there is some good hookers looking for a fulltime gig. Your thougths. :crazy or

DOES ANYONE have any views on my left field idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont like it

This subject was brought up during the call of the game Stephen Humphreys was asked and he denied it
Suppose it depends on whether you believe Humphreys or not

6\. Sironen
7\. Marshall

6\. Marshall
7\. Miller

6\. Marshall
7\. Farah
9\. Politoni

1\. Marshall
6\. Sironen
7\. Miller

3\. Nofoaluma
4\. Ayshford
6\. Lawrence
7\. Marshall

In honesty all of these are decent options. Lui would be a loss, but not a massive loss. Unless he improves towards the end of the season, continuing to persevere with him would be at the expense of someone else. Eventually you have to cut your losses.

out of those options i prefer:

6\. Marshall
7\. Miller

I think we should of kept moltzen and gave lui tha flick
Just my opinion

yea if lui wanted to leave then he should have said something earlier so we could have kept moltzen

It wouldn't kill us if we lost him. We have benji, miller, siro & Lawrence that can all play in the halves next year. I think we would be ok. But it would be good to hang on to lui.

So is it comfirmed or still speculation ?

speculation, and do we really need it at this stage of the season when concentration should be full steam ahead for the semis then look after the rest after that.

hell no we dont want lawrence in the halves. sironen only turns 19 next year. too young to rely on for 1st grade

Yeah agree - lets leave all this stuff till after the season finishes and then so be it.
