Off the top of my head:

Blair
Simona
Austin
Ava
Lulia
Richards

I would say Richards will probably call it a day, could try out for the NFL. Lulia will go, Blair i think will stay. Austin, if he continues playing the way he has this yr i think a few clubs might be after him, so we'd probably be best advised to try and get him locked up over the summer. Would be nice to retain Simona and Ava too. Not sure why Ava was only re-signed for one yr, can only assume it was due to cap restraints.

Once Teddy is fit, where does Austin fit into the side? Moses will be 5/8 with Brooks at half. Can we afford to keep him for insurance in the event Teddy never plays a full season? Can he play Centre?

Not sure how much he is on and I do enjoy having him in the side. Good problem to have…

According to Zero Tackle

Blake Austin, Adam Blair, Jack Buchanan, Andy Fiagatusa, James Gavet, Dene Halatau, Kyle Lovett, Joel Luani, Keith Lulia, Tim Moltzen, Pat Richards, Kurtis Rowe, Brenden Santi, John Sila, Tim Simona

From that list we should DEFINITELY retain
- Austin
- Gavet
- Santi
- Simona

I would also like to see us keep:
- Blair (presuming his contract won't be too costly)
- Fiagatusa (I like what I see in him)
- Halatau (turns 32 next year so maybe just a 1 year deal if he doesn't retire)
- Lovett (still waiting for him to really kick on but he's still young and time is on his side)
- Moltzen (Can't see him cracking first grade at full strength but will be good depth if he doesnt go elsewhere)

As for the rest:
- Buchanan, Luani and Lulia won't be required. We have better than those 3 coming through.
- Richards I presume will retire.
- Rowe I don't mind either way, we don't have many other options there unless someone like Farrell really steps up.
- Sila I haven't seen enough of to judge.

Gavet and Simona MUST be re-signed whilst it would be a bonus to also re-sign Blair, Santi and Austin. The others wouldn't be critical losses.

Austin deserves better. It'd be great to keep, but it shouldn't be at his expense, which i think it would be.

Gavet is good but lacks discipline.

This is extremely extremely optimistically wishful thinking, let the club trot out one re-signing a day culminating in confirmation of Teddy's deal in time for the Campbelltown game on Monday night
Akauola on Tuesday, Ava today, Santi tomorrow, Gavet Friday, Austin Saturday and Simona on Sunday.
I'd gladly take the wooden spoon now if that miracle occurred.

i agree that he deserves better. He is a whole-hearted player who puts in 100% every week. But with a spine of Teddy, Moses, Brooks and Farah from 2015 onwards and a four-forward bench i don't see an open spot for Austin in our full strength side. I think he is too good to be a depth/NSW Cup player and that is why i think his re-signing would be a bonus rather than a necessity. Realistically speaking, we're not going to keep them all unfortunately.

Gavet does lack discipline, but the impact and roll on he provides is invaluable. He has more upside and besides discipline will come with fitness and a calming influence - Discipline can be taught, aggression and impact can't
