Tigers official team vs Panthers

I hope to see these late changes:

* Buchanan to start & Taupau bench
* Luani to NSW Cup
* Halatau start hooker, Auto bench
* Moses fullback
* If Potter is feeling generous, Fine to centre, drop Lulia.
 
Their will be no changes, this Potters idea of playing safe. Even if we dont win another game for another month Potter will still persist with his tried and trusted and keep picking plodders. I do feel for him with our injury toll but on the other hand you at least got to pick a team that can keep the score board ticking. The old South QLD Crushers would beat this team and that is saying somthing

Late mail suggests Moses will start at fullback, Austin will drop to the bench and I'm not sure who will drop off the bench. Possibly Halatau?
 
There's also word today in the DT that Simona may come into consideration.

damn everywhere it says moses is all set to debut.

i hope not. there is no point in having halatau and austin on the bench. i hope we run out 1-17 unless tim simona miraculously recovers.

Simona is out for 4 weeks min…Bench will be Austin, Halatau, Ava, Buchanan
 
That's an extremely light bench that lacks impact. Hope to atleast see Ava start instead of taupau. Or aka replace Buchanan.

Is Buchanan available to play after being named for the NSW Cup rep team?

I'm concerned Potter is going to run with a bench of only one front rower (Semanufagai) and use Halatau in the backrow.

Thinking Moses comes into the 1 and we run with a bench of Halatau, Semanufagai, Akaoula and Austin. Going to mean plenty of minutes for Taupau.

Think we need another front rower on the bench, give Lodge a crack!

I think Lodge will play
 
It is more important that Lodge makes the side rather than Moses. We need some decent power on the bench.

Austin has proved he can play everywhere, playing him at centre and dropping Lulia wouldn't hurt.

Then we can have Moses start fullback & Lodge for Buchanan who will be representing NSW Cup.

BREAKING: Moley getting mail that the bad boy Matt Lodge is set to debut for @Wests_Tigers this weekend. Wild man BUT can play.

Hope that it's true. Our bench looks tiny at the moment, especially if the Austin to the bench rumour is true… We definitely need the extra size coming up against arguably the biggest side in the comp.
