Tigers prepare to dump Benji Marshall for Luke Brooks

potter does not have the balls to drop benji and anasta me thinks, so i think we are stuck with both till seasons end.
But it would be good to see him grow a spine and just do it, maybe even nikey might sign u up for there add JUST DO IT!!!

He already dropped Benji to the bench before. And that's before he left and stayed playing this badly

Tigers management was at Murrays funeral yesterday, so the exemption won't be lodged till today. So you should expect Anasta/Marshall to be named as I don't think the NRL will grant an exemption that quickly. Might take a day or so.

Watch people freak out about it though.

While I agree that Marshall should be on the sideline for the rest of the season, why do we dump him for Brooks, I thought Brooks was a half back.

It shouldnt happen for a couple of reasons
1\. Marshall has been a great servent and deserves to go out in a good way
2\. Benji will bring in bums on seats for his final games and we need the cash
3\. It makes the pressure on brooks if he is not only playing but replacing marshall too much - its going to be extreme anyway but imagine the presure and likely interaction with teammates if he replaces benji
4\. We are already loosing Robbie next week , too much to also loose benji

Reasons it should happen
1\. Benji has been horrible out of form and is getting worse

1\. Whether Benji goes out in a good way or not is entirely up to him.
2\. I think there would be more bums on seats in the event that Brooks was debuting, than with Benji playing the way he is, at present.
3\. Agree.
4\. Benji is dis-connected and hopelessly out of form - it will cost us more if he plays, imo.

All that said, it most likely is a media beat up and Benji will see out his 200 games anyway.

Rubbish he deserves to go out in a good way. He deserves to be dropped. He's a joke and I really wonder how many more bad performances it needs until a home crowd start booing him? He has shown no respect for the club and therefore deserves everything he is copping at the moment.

what do we have to lose with benji there in the last few games

we will come off as villains as a club if we rob him of getting 200 games, he will just sook more in the pressers. if that man had any dignity, he would either try his heart out for the club now or he should step down.

Start Brooks and have Benji on the bench to ease Brooks in or the other way around. That way Benji still gets his 200 games and we get to blood Brooks.
