Always is relevant but do we really need these articles pumped out 15 times a year when they’re all the exact same.

I don’t have an issue with Pascoe personally. I find it hard to blame on field issues and player recruitment on him when it’s not his job. Business wise he’s improved the club massively.

He's completely out of his depth. Any other club would have sacked him years ago. He's hopeless.

Incorrect.

Just because you like him doesn’t mean he’s a good operator.

The same goes in reverse, because you don't like him and his haircut doesn't make him a bad CEO.

I actually have nothing against him as a person. I’m sure he’s a really good guy. Just not good at his job.

Farah was re- signed after it was obvious Cleary was off to Penrith. So who signed off on that? Cleary?
The CEO can't wash his hands of signings.

That'll do me if you think he caused that. Mate forget it.

The boards of the past and present .. you want to
direct blame look no further this is where Mediocrity has been spawned and probably will continue into the future !

It's a fair article IMO. I think Tamou was required for some leadership but we need a bit more variety in the middle. Musgrove, Lucy and Aloiai play with intent. Hopefully Stefano and Blore have it. A guy like Hetherington would be great for our pack. We've just had too many pedestrian forwards that don't lay a platform and that's one of the main things we need to fix.

Surely no one could expect that Pascoe could have foreseen that Cleary would be rehired to replace the coach that he was sacked for, who at the time had the team sitting fourth on the ladder!!
Marina Go and the board must also be held accountable if that's the case they were all hood winked - Pascoe does not hire the coach on his own.

Can we hire somebody in a hierarchy that would oversee this recruitment team to success? I'm not sure what their job title would be. Leader. Boss. Chief. Something like that. 🙂

If we are going to crucify the guy, be fair.

He is responsible for hiring Cleary and Madge only. Not 3 coaches.

He walked in at a time when the Farah thing was already well ablaze. September 2015, I think. I think he walked in, tried to take one for the team as mediator and very quickly wore the brunt of everyone elses ongoing mistakes and handling of Farah, BEFORE HE GOT THERE. He was the CEO, made an error and took it for the team.

I support the club and majority rules, if most want him gone then so be it. But I'm certain of this. He will be snapped up, unshaven, bad haircut and huge forehead and all, by other savvy businesses. He isn't an imbecile in the same league as we've had previously.

It is clear to me that for whatever reason, the media are scouring away at the club looking for a scalp. Probably his. There will be more to that agenda than a bunch of talented, well meaning league journalists* only doing what they think is best for the down trodden WT supporter.

* The phrase "Well meaning, talented league journalists" is used because it always gets a laugh.

He would not be solely responsible for how much each player is worth to the Wests Tigers - why does he have a coaching team, recruitment and head of football? They say they want player X .... he would calculate that we can afford this (it may or may not need to be ticked off by the Board), he would possibly advise the group we have X amount of dollars left on the cap and that's it. He would sign the contract when it is produced. That would be managing the cap to my mind. What else do you want him do with it?
