Can't question his commitment. He's always been a consummate professional and irrespective of his form that is a quality that should be lauded.

@sheer64 said:I like most of us hope he returns to devastating form. I also would like to see him concentrate on speed and agility when he feels he is fully recovered. What we cannot have is a repeat of his 2013 form. The ball is in his court.
@Milky said:Lawrence is a great player when playing his best, everyone knows that. If he can get fully fit by round 1 I would have him in the NSW Cup team. Ease him in as if he has never played a first grade game before, he is still young and I wouldn't mind the club spending next year trying to get him back into full form. He can start the season in NSW Cup and slowly come into the team.
@innsaneink said:Everyone had him earmarked for the forwards for some reason….what happened to that?
Place is full of experts
@Snake said:Lawrence has to reinvent himself if he doesn't this will be his last season at the Tigers, I believe a leaner ,lighter and faster frame has to be aimed for .I see Lawrence over the past as muscle bound and this in tern has slowed him down and hindered his movement. What ever he has been doing in the past is not working ..good luck but a different philosophy is required at least he is looking after himself after footy with his business as this could be full time come 2015.

@GNR4LIFE said:I thought he was starting to find his feet towards the end of the yr. That game against the Sharks in particular, he showed glimpses of his old self. I'm prepared to see how he goes after a good, injury free off-season. He almost crippled himself, he deserves a chance to repay the faith the club has shown in him. **Too bad some of the supporters are too fickle to give the guy a chance.**

 People questioning Lawrence's ability to get back to his best has got nothing to do with fickleness. How many chances are you prepared to give someone who is severely underperforming? Wonder if you would be willing to give Moltzen, Blair, BMM etc (or any other of our players that have been labelled as underperforming over the years) the same leeway?
Fair dinkum, if some people on here were in charge of running our team roster we would have a team full of "great blokes" who are playing footy like busted arses. Probably the same people who consistently bagged Sheens and questioned his knowledge.
Not much room for sentiment in modern footy, perform or someone else will take your spot.
Nobody is saying don't give him another chance but who wants to see emerging talent moved on while blindly living in hope?
