Where do you wish to draw the line though Goose

I went to Ipswich Grammar with all the Walters boys (Steve ,Kevin and Kerrod ) ,Willie Carne ,Brett Plowman ,Craig Polla Mounter

Does that make them Rugby converts or League converts ??

Well, back on topic, I don't think anyone knows, and really he isn't going to be a key player for us even if he does sign.

Mayer said there was still a large training squad which would be trimmed down before the squad return after the new year. I'd be thinking it would be happening towards the end of the week… So we'll find out then who's made the first cut!

Sorry I didn't realise Marshall had made it in union yet. Can I see the highlights?

i'm talking about players that played union as juniors that made it league. so, exactly what deegan will try to do if he comes to NYC.

Well Deegan played half for the junior Wallabies overnight in Ireland. That would suggest not only that he isn't trialling with us, but if he's still playing rugby that he also has some commitment to the sport going forward.

They wouldn't pay for him to go on a trip like this if he was leaving the code in a few weeks.

Kicked a few goals but nothing else was mentioned.

This is the Aussie Schools team, this is not linked to the senior programs, so he may not have any further commitment to Rugby.
It does however confirm that he was not training with us pre christmas.

According to this forum member, it was always going to be the case that he was going to tour:

The deals been signed, but Deegan has been picked in the Aus Schools union team to tour europe through november and december, and the deal won't be announced until all his union commitments are finished. That's even if it is announced publicly, it is only an under 20s contract after all
