TIGERS TARGET CENTRES AND BACK-ROWERS FOR 2016

They must be seeing Nofo as a winger to be talking centres b/c i think Nofo and Simona will be our long-term centre pairing.

I would love to see how Rowdy goes in the backrow once Nofo regains full fitness.

The key questions are: do we need experience, depth or superstars in these positions? If we are after potential superstars grab the top rated 18-20yr olds in these positions and take a punt. No more Adam Blairs's.

I'm surprised people would be endorsing signing Auva'a after the way everyone was glad to see the back of Lui.

Kirisome and Ethan Lowe for me .

Lowe has one motor on him and very affective.

Agree on Ethan Lowe, one of the best for the Cowboys so far this season. Also a handy goal kicker.

People kidding with auva?

Anyways id rather go someone like Fonua, wouldn't break the bank and can allow for likes of Seve/heleta to come through.

Auva'a never to be signed for mine.

Don't need him, don't want him - he can stay with "The Pride of the League"
Don't need Tupou either - we have Delouise and a few others.

In a year when all these "so called" experienced players come off contract, our youngsters will have another season under their belt.

We need, if anything - to buy a top player - What position?, who?, and where from?
If we need anybody - all those names in the article ?????

If the Tigers sign Auva'a I will not be renewing my membership.

As already mentioned we got rid of Lui, I dont want this club to adopt the win at any cost mentality of the Rabbitohs who will sign and defend any player regardless of their backgound. Lets keep this club free of d***heads

Beau Scott would come in handy for a few seasons.

Ethan Lowe is a good player but apparently is a bit of a knob.

I'd take a punt on Jake Mamo from Newcastle, small but crazy speed. Can't get a run at Newy.

In saying all this by 2016, our juniors will have some experience and we may not need to spend big dollars recruitment.

I think its tough to see weaknesses in our squad. I think the real issue will be if Brooks and Moses kick on. Maybe we can replace Lawrence or move him to the backrow but I'm not sure its going to make a huge difference to the team.

Moses and Brooks firing though and Sirro and maybe Lovett kicking on will make some difference. I'm just not sure that we need to go out and spend big money on a backrower or a centre.

Heard a few rumours that we are in talks with Daniel Tupou, SKD, Beau Scott and Alex Glenn about 2 weeks ago.

This article backs up what i heard.

James Roberts and Chris Grevhsmul. If not, Jake Mamo and Ethan Lowe.

I'm with you. If you take out the players we have buckleys of getting (Glenn, Thaiday, Gallen) and the players we don't want (Reddy, Auva'a), these are the picks. But I suspect SKD is still the main contender.

That would be quite the pickup,SKD,Toups and either Scott or Glenn,at least we are putting our selves out there, and we are no longer regarded as a last resort instead a club on the rise.

Center is more of a concern then backrow for mine. Siros been great so far and both Lovett and sue have been fine. Lamar and funaki aren't far off.

Centers the real trouble area. Lawrence isn't first grade standard and Simona is still a better winger IMO
