This is a no brainer to be honest , that leaves the club 2 seasons to find another long term replacement.. Benji plays reserves and fills in when needed . But as with all decisions this club makes Benji will be the first priority unfortunately!
The problem is Benji doesn't play reserves, how many reserve grade games has he played since he come back, zero, that is why I want him gone, that and he is holding Brooks back
Holding Brooks back? Mate I normally agree with you on most things, but this ain’t one of them. No one is holding Brooks back but himself. He’s had ample time in the NRL to prove his worth as a top grade half (with and without Benji by his side). He has never delivered anything good on a consistent basis. Please no more excuses for this guy!
I agree with you Brooks has not stepped up and has no idea how to manage a game or organise the team, but neither does Benji, so he can't teach him.
But I think Brooks is too timid to do or try anything when Benji is there, I really feel he would improve with another person playing in the halves with him.
Not for one minute am I making an excuse for Brooks, he should still be able to these things with over 100 NRL games under his belt, but he can't, and we went all in on Brooks with a 5 year deal, so we need to make it work. I think it can work, just not until Benji goes though, no excuse, just my opinion.
