Well he can go back till he finds it, like I have to do when people don't push quote.

The joke was that his post directly before yours was actually deleted!

@Russell Cheers mate, sorry if it got a bit repetitive - as I said I think we are headed in the right direction with the training facility and junior development however having several hoe grounds doesn't help our culture nor the attraction of serious players - the only way we get them is through heaps of money

>"Here is a letter than we all know is true"?

Really?

If I was to start a post with a statement like that, I'd try to make sure it made sense and had some semblance on grammatical English.

Yours had neither.

Look it wasn't a good start when the statement he started with also lacked both!

@Tiger-Tragic
You sound like my old English teacher - but i will work on it

The frustration is palpable.

We need a cultural base.

We need a home.

This club has a dual history, but if it is to be the one identity of Wests Tigers then it needs its own home ground.

Not Leichhardt.
Not Campbelltown.
Play one game each there a year.

Whoever is at the helm, please, work it out.
Wherever it is, if we make it our own, we will embrace it. It is well time.

What we need is..cap space and or.a group of wealthy and high profile supporters who can part with a few brown paper bags.
Than it would not matter if we had ten home grounds

Agreed!
Just imagine if the wealthiest man in Aus was a Tigers supporter?

Leichhardt is the best place on Earth as it is.
If you want fancy facilities go somewhere else, Leichhardt doesn't need you.

I go to Leichhardt to experience the atmosphere and watch footy with other passionate Tigers fans.
I couldn't care less about the size of the screens, or the quality of the bathroom fittings or the food, if you know the food is crap, eat before you go or after.
I'm sure you could get through a game without having to jam food into your pie hole, it's not a hotel.

Other than that I agree, but I'd be happy to play every home game at a packed Leichhardt, bad food, small screens, old toilets and all.
Couldn't care less!

Sorry but put those tinted classes away. It sub standard, has been for years. You will never attract the sponsors or modern fans to such an antiquated setup. It needs millions spent on it but that is never going to happen. Bye bye Leichhardt, it was nice while it lasted but we are done.

The answer is to get on the front foot and claim Gosford. Will save the club from its eventual demise and relocation to perth.

No it didnt. it was the Northern eagles and no one liked it.

Central Coast Tigers is a completely different thing. We go there and we embrace the central coast.

Norths didnt move there. They were taken over by Manly and went as very poor and fractioned orginisation.

Seriously? I was kidding to start with but surely you know the history better than that?

Norths committed to moving to Gosford, the stadium was being built for them, during the building of the stadium there was extremely poor weather which resulted in Norths playing games all over the place including Parra Stadium. This hit their finances terribly and they missed out on the criteria for entry to the NRL which then led to them merging with Manly and the Northern Eagle playing out of Gosford!

All i remember is the Northern Eagles and the miserable failure that was.

You trying to say that if the Roosters or a club like that went to Gosford they wouldnt be a raging success. Seems you just dont have a lot of faith in our brand.

Central Coast Tigers would be a revelation.
