Tigers urge fans to buy Storm tickets early

lets see it hit 23,000

I think they will only let 21,000 into Leichhardt Oval now. When there were bigger crowds than that they said it was too crowded and unsafe on the hill.

Monday arvo
Tickets 04555 and 56.

Can anybody point me in the right direction for the Leichhardt express leaving from Cambo?

Mostly sunny. Winds westerly averaging up to 30 km/h.

Friday and Saturday look to be fine too so the hill should hopefully not be a mud-bath

6:30pm Tuesday: Ticket: 10087

5000 tickets sold in a few hours?

The doggies game should be awesome! I love Cambo on a Friday night

GA Tickets tonight are at 05659
I dunno why it jumped up to 10,000+ but now has fallen back. Maybe the number isn't a true indication of total number of tickets sold, including those sold at Concord and the clubs.

I seem to recall this game last year selling out the day before. The club put up a notice saying there were limited tickets left.

STORM MATCH CLOSE TO A SELL OUT
25/08/2010 4:04:23 PM
Wests Tigers would like to advise fans that tickets are selling extremely fast for this Sunday’s Telstra Premiership clash with the Melbourne Storm at Leichardt Oval.
>
All reserved seating is now sold out and at the current rate of sales, it is predicted that the remaining 3000 general admission tickets should be sold by the end of the working week.
>
All supporters are encouraged to purchase their tickets online at [www.weststigers.com.au](http://www.weststigers.com.au) or by phoning 1300 12 10 12 as soon as possible or risk missing out.
>
The match is an important one for Tim Sheens’ men who stand to qualify for a home semi final should they be able to overcome the Melbourne Storm.
>
Chief Executive of the Wests Tigers Stephen Humphreys said Sunday’s game against the Storm promises to be a great contest.
>
“There is huge interest from our fans who love nothing more than cheering for their team particularly on a Sunday afternoon at Leichardt Oval,’’ Humphreys said.
>
“We urge all our fans to purchase their tickets now to avoid the disappointment of missing out on a great day at the footy.”
>
In anticipation of the sell out, the club will be unable to accept Junior League passes. Arrangements have been made though to provide complimentary access to the game for local junior league players.

That was posted on the Wednesday. Keep in mind that the storm game was Round 25 and we were entrenched in the 8

and just as I post that, Cuzzo sends an email saying the following:

Wests Tigers wish to advise of the following policy in relation to rugby league passes for Sunday’s blockbuster match against Melbourne Storm at Leichhardt Oval.
>
Last year's clash between the two sides at Leichhardt Oval attracted a crowd of more than 20,000 and strong ticket sales indicate another bumper crowd for the match.
>
To ensure junior rugby league players and school children get the chance to see the only Sunday game at Leichhardt Oval this season, Wests Tigers advise of the following:
>
- all Junior League and/or school rugby league passes, along with yellow NRL season passes will be accepted to gain entry until 1pm (pending availability of tickets on match day)
>
From 1pm, children or adults with the Junior League, school rugby league passes, and yellow NRL season passes will not be able to gain entry with these passes. Entry will be via paid ticket only.
>
All reserved seating has been sold for the game and Wests Tigers encourage fans to purchase their tickets now.
>
