We didn't have enough attack in us tonight, defense was strong but I don't think there are enough points in Brooks and Reynolds to play them together.

Agree. With the exception of AD we never looked like doing much in attack. Benji needs to be there, we score a lot more points with him

It was discussed that Benji always causes trouble for the Raiders' defence. The bloke who replaced him is one of our highest paid players.

We should have led by more than 4 at halftime, that was the problem.

Otherwise they were good. AD was a standout, excellent game from him and he needs to kick more in the last. Can put up a good bomb.

Anyone who says Madge has lost the sheds doesn’t know footy. They responded to him amazingly.
Here’s the thing - this commitment last week and we get 2 points. Bloody frustrating.
Also, ref did not cost us this game: unforced errors cost us - usual problem
Packer also cost us. Poor lateral movement led to try, 10 minutes in bin and a penalty goal from a head shot. Players should call him out - terrible effort from him.

Unlucky with that dropped ball from raiders. Changed the game big effort from them just dropped the balls in good positions grant and brooks.

I like Luke Brooks. I think he gets a bit of a tough run from a lot of people. But he had two touches in the final 90 seconds. Got smashed running sideways from the scrum and then drops a perfectly fine pass.
Reasonable effort overall. A run of late penalties and tackle restarts don’t make up for us being dudded the other 75 minutes. Penalties were 4-10 up til then, tackle restarts 3-5. In a 50/50 possession game they’re tough stats to swallow.

That was an old fashioned rope a dope refereeing performance ........the crucial 50/50 calls when it counted went to Canberra ...and then even it up once the raiders are home and hosed
