Much better effort tonight - boys really had a dig.
Anyone who says Madge has lost the sheds doesn’t know footy. They responded to him amazingly.
Here’s the thing - this commitment last week and we get 2 points. Bloody frustrating.
Also, ref did not cost us this game: unforced errors cost us - usual problem
Packer also cost us. Poor lateral movement led to try, 10 minutes in bin and a penalty goal from a head shot. Players should call him out - terrible effort from him.

You know the Raiders are a top team. It just proves we can be a top team as well. We need a few more quality players and it will fall into place.

Need to score more than 6 points to have a chance to win a game, we had our opportunities but just couldn't create anything. AD is growing on me though, I was critical of his signing, I'd like to see a player trailing on his inside as he goes through the line with his footwork.

I like Luke Brooks. I think he gets a bit of a tough run from a lot of people. But he had two touches in the final 90 seconds. Got smashed running sideways from the scrum and then drops a perfectly fine pass.
Reasonable effort overall. A run of late penalties and tackle restarts don’t make up for us being dudded the other 75 minutes. Penalties were 4-10 up til then, tackle restarts 3-5. In a 50/50 possession game they’re tough stats to swallow.

He needs to talk to a psychologist, and learn about being a leader and taking control. Otherwise it’s bye bye from me. He should be killing it with the new rule but he is nowhere.

That was an old fashioned rope a dope refereeing performance ........the crucial 50/50 calls when it counted went to Canberra ...and then even it up once the raiders are home and hosed

What you gonna do about that crap Vlandys ...sack that tool I hope

Nothing because when the top teams win, the refs win.

Let's get credit where it's due. Paying a grand final team Wests Tigers only need two or three players to replace the expensive dead wood and we would be side to be reckoned with,

What really pisses me off is the constant dud calls we get compared to favoured teams. Earlier today Cameron Smith passed off the ground - 50/50 at best. But because it was Smith it’s play on. Roll into our game and we get slammed when it was a legitimate pass. It’s not cheating but it is perhaps subconscious favouritism towards stronger clubs and elite players. We get the bad rub so often

Yeah I am just about the same mate, I saw Brooks doing a bit of the talking at halftime and maybe the dropping of Benji was to try and get him to step up and lead. It just didn't happen though.

He was far better ..probably only caught out twice positionally from memory

But only if we play like that every week

They get credit for trying, and it's better than last week, but it's still not good enough.

Why do we persist with trying to teach Brooks to be a leader, why not let him be his natural self (not a leader) and get another player who is?

Doueihi 251m!!

Only Aloiai (102) and Twal (104) ran over the century for our pack although Lucky went close.

Packer 9m according to Fox. Lawrence 40. MCK and Seyfarth under 30m. We simply can’t afford to carry those numbers. They had three blokes over 120...

Good call.

The challenge is to turn up next week and do it again, then again the week after. If we turn up and play like that every week the wind will come.

The call where they said Mck was tackled was an absolute shocker

Yep. I don’t believe his arm carrying the ball hit the ground. I’ll check in a replay.

It wasn't ...the commentators even mentioned it off the replay

The club has plenty of money to recruit at least three top players into their team and Madge will be making the right choices.

I'm still not convinced he is a fullback, his positioning really isn't good enough.

I don't think it was a problem tonight at all.

Come on Yoss that pass was puss, he jumped and it was still high.

Great effort from the team against more fancied opposition and some refereeing that we have no control over. Disapointed by the result but not in the team.
