Given Benji’s comments last week regarding Latu and his loads, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Api playing 7 and Tallyn starting at kickoff. Latu to come on at 20-30 minute mark.
Not sure I like this but it’s better than him doing another soft tissue injury and being sidelined for multiple weeks.
His return plan shouldn’t be risked just because we have a personnel problem.

So let’s complain to the League up front this time, present stats pertaining to her handling of our games, number of questionable/incorrect decisions etc.etc. At the very least she would know the eyes and ears of the game were watching her very closely !!!

I think Manly will come out firing on all cylinders after all the recent hype, they need a kill and what better than a bottom 4 team who really dont know how to win and are only good for about 30-40 good minutes. Turbo hat trick imo.

Manly have been the most bipolar team of 2025. A few games this season they looked like premiership material, many other games they played like wooden spooners. Their last 2 outings were atrocious, capitulating to Newcastle in the second half and going down badly to an under strength Titans, of all teams. They’ve had a couple of weeks off with a bye to reflect on that. Which team will turn up this week? I think they’ll be ready for us and it is at Brookie.
Hoping the Fainu brothers have a point to prove against their old club and run riot instead 🙏🏼

That's not good, I am pretty sure most of our tries are conceeded on that side of the field.

Mason is shocking under the high ball lol.....excited as you are to see Latu and Laui in the halves for 80 .....pity Mason will lose it for us
And he'll still get some love from family and friends on the Forum
Is he any worse under a contested high ball than other notable short backup fullbacks such as Jye Gray, Tuapiki, Faalago etc ?
Faalogo is a different category all together mate that kid is special

Yes his technique is bad. His eyes spin around and he doesn't set his feet.

A fan because I love players that work hard and put in. Especially when we've had plenty who don't.
Do I think he's a first grade fullback? Not at all, and I've said that a few times. But I'll back him 100% when he's named.
Not to say it won't remain a weakness, but a few examples of players who had the dropsies early went on to be proper first graders.
His future is backup 6 or a 14 anyway.
I wasn’t saying they have comparable playing talent, I was saying the other short fullbacks such as Faalogo also have also struggled under the contested high ball.

It’s actually laughable some of the stuff I’ve seen on here this season from people bagging Bula and claiming Mason to be better.
Bula is 20x the player of Mason. He shouldn’t be anywhere near a first grade team.
