What gets me is what an amazing mis-match....the Silver spoons of Manly and Blacktown Workers Club.
I was a member of B'town Workers Sports Club for a couple of years and what an amazing set up with the 2 clubs combined.
I haven't been back to Blacktown for about 15 years, but I wouldn't be surprised if The Workers is now bigger and better than Manly Leagues.

I was born in Blacktown. Does that mean I should be a Parra supporter?

The footy ground back them was surrounded by bush but the club had the foresight to buy the land and had great visions on how to develop it. So I dare say it is a bigger club in numbers and finances than Manly.

I lived in Tregear and played against Workers when the club was surrounded by bush. Played for Rooty Hill RSL in the junior grades and then went to Nth St Marys and then Saints until I left the place. Workers and Blacktown Leagues were always hard games. Tough nuts out that way in the 70s and 80s.

TPJ is going to have a field day tomorrow unfortunately for us fans.
I understand we have put the white flag up for 2022 but after watching the Dogs last week they know if they power our forwards which is not hard they will roll us.. Surely the Coaches understand that and don't have 2 backs on the bench.. I hope I am eating humble pie but this is not going to be pretty.
Surely as have some young forwards that would be better adding to bench and maybe run AD in reserves for a week or so.

I think there is just some automatic subliminal attraction to follow WT which most eventually find is just to hard to resist 🤣
With me being born in Croydon and going to Ashfield Boys High it was game, set, bingo in my case to follow the Mighty Magpies.

If he was handed the ball over the line he would drop it for sure.
If there was only one to beat a metre out he would stumble and headbutt the opposition's boots and knock himself out.
