Tim Grant Discussion

With Tim Grant ruled out of the Souths game according to the Wests Tigers website, Who should come in?

After watching the NSW Cup game on the weekend I believe we need another front rower however Rod Griffin is simply not big enough for first grade…

We have all but written off yet another season so I would probably blood a youngster like Dallas Graham or Wesley LoLo

Thoughts?

Griffo hits HARD, I have seen enough of him on TV here in QLD.

Without sounding arrogant, you don't have to be a big bloke to make a big impact.
Some smaller men hit harder than the bigger units

I'd be inclined to go with Edwards but wouldn't mind Griffin being there….but it will be all in vein sadly.

On a different subject I don't think the season is written off yet.

To make the 8 you need to win at least half the games
We have 4 points, 4 from byes
We need perhaps 10 wins somewhere in the season for the additional 20 points.
From the 15 games remaining we can afford to drop 5 more before the season is a write off.

My prediction is 28 will get you in the top 8, that's what we should aim for

I completely agree. We can still turn this season around. At the same time every game we've lost we could have won. I don't think at the moment the players and the coach have the ability to win games.

Well we have 16 games left so we can only drop 6 games…...I can't see it!!!!

I wasnt counting Tomorrows game intentionally, because deep down I don't want to write that off.
I'm in denial if you haven't figured it out yet.

Sad realty for God knows how many seasons now :frowning:

Sironen

I would put Sirro in the second row of the grandstand and leave him there,we will probably get more out of him there..!

I think he does a lot of damage to our backline , but think he could be useful as a prop and would give us some added mobility in the middle of the ruck along with Sue

You know what Happy you just may be right ..the more I see siro and how slow he is compared to other edge backrowers the more his natural fit seems to be 8,10 or 13\. He has the size to do it but the question is does he have the heart.

I suspect Edwards will be the bloke to get the call up but I'd be looking at Dallas Graham personally.

I don't want him at the WT's either but he is going to get picked in the 17 every week and you need to find the best place for him

At prop he doesn't screw our backline up
