Tim Grant

As per usual, when he is off the field the metres up our guts flow to the opposition, just as like they used to when Keefy went to the bench.

Hopefully Edwards will get his chance in 1sts next week & plug that gap when Tim comes off.

I think Edwards is being over-hyped on here IMO.

He hits hard in defence but thats about where the upside ends. He might do a job but he isn't the saviour that many are making him out to be.

He doesn't need to be a saviour in attack Tony

A forward who can make 35 tackles that everyone will count and stick will do me just fine

Sue ,Grant ,Woods and Lawrence will make enough yards to cover for him

The greater good of the team

Grant is going well providing more then what Keith ever did,him and Sue seem to feed off each other, and it was good to see Grant backing Sue up when he got in a tiff with Gal and his whinging teammates.

Certain players have made an international career from being tacklers with little or no attack. (Terry Randall, David Gillespie to name a couple). Great hitters are worth their weight in gold imo - and something Weststigers have never really had. Ellis could hit but wasn't a 'hitter' per se. To have a player that the opposition are actually looking out for will make a great difference to this team. I for one would prefer him to Buchanan, Lovett, Halatau and even Cherrington.
