Tim Moltzen- Looking Elsewhere

Just to get a few ppl (okay everyone) on here riled up a little, was reliably told that Lote is still turning up to each training session and is asking to play again next year.

Don't think the club would go for it, for obvious reasons, but Lote is dead serious it seems about getting a one year extension.

Can't knock his perseverance !

Maybe sharks will take ayshford and moltzen as a package like heigno and beau and they will use moltzen as a utility

I always chuckle when I hear the word "utility" used in the context of Moltzen. Let's not forget we've ended up playing both Anasta and Sironen at half this season because Moltzen isn't up to playing his theoretical second position. As a full back he's just barely first grade standard, at centre he's playable in an emergency, at half he's a zero and that's basically his lot.

Maybe if the price was right. How much do you suppose Lote is willing to play the club?

Beau was our utility…. great one too. Played winger, FB, centres perfecty well every time. Wish it coulda been moltzen to the sharks, not beau.

WOuld only pay him a small contract, if he plays, so be it but he could bring through the quiet Koro and help get him up to 1st grade standard ands confidence etc…

When it comes to Lote, it is not about the cash it is about a spot in the top 25\. We have seen the problems this year when a lot of injuries occur and guys outside the squad have to be brought up. So why waste a perfectly good spot on a guy that is slow and is no guarantee of getting on the field.

If he respected the club he would retire and that is what I expect him to do.

On Lote if he is back and we are out of contention play him and every other first 25 player we can and drop the others back to NYC & NSW Cup to bolster their sides and make sure they qualify to play finals

Word in the paper this morning he's linked with St Helens. He's been in Europe this week so could be over there having talks with one or several English clubs. You'd think if he was serious about his rehab and playing for the Tigers he'd be back here…? Now he can suck in a totally different hemisphere

Seems like Benji's Boys Club is being broken up
