I'm not confident with this move and I'm only speculating but I think Sheens is looking more long term with this move.
I think Sheens must be using Lawrence as a fill in until either Sironen is ready for the 6 or most likely Anasta in the 6 next year.

As much as we've all considered it over the years, I just don't see Lawrence working as a 6\. He's not even working well at centre this season.

Rather then sit back and waiting for Lawrence to fail, I wish him and the team all the best and hopefully it pays off.

Sheens will stick with this even though it clearly doesn't work. Just like he persisted with Morris for three years at halfback.

How can you say it clearly doesn't work when it has been tried so few times. Comparing this to Morris at halfback for 3 years is more than a little exaggerated.

IMO the turning point of the game was when Lawrence went off. He were a rabble in attack whilst he was at pivot. Having said that I thought Ayshford looked great at 5/8.

It was always a bad selection; fate appears to have intervevened and hopefully we wont see him at 5/8 again.

I'm with Tim on this one …. I reckon Lawry can make it as well.

I dunno if it will work but you can see the reasoning behind it.

Having Reddy,Lawry,Aysh on at the same time is a winner.

I think the reasoning is we have too many backrowers, and hes percieved to be too slow now for centre
