Tim Sheen's explains the reson for recruiting Adam Blair and

I agree Groat cost us in the semi final against the warriors, it wasnt the only mistake that cost us but his stupid decision to fling the ball out on the half line in the first half and invite the warriors to score was bsoluletly stupidity. One can only hope that he learns from that mistake and becomes a better player as well.

Im not completely sold on Groat… But he is young and he is a lump

Wait and see how he goes this year, im assuming he will get more time!

I am sold on Groat. He was called up halfway through 2011 and really stepped up for us at a time we needed a prop.

You can't expect huge things or close to flawless performances in semis from a rookie. He is only 10 games into his career, and we won 8 of them, he was definitely one of those contributing in our end of season charge.

I find it hard to believe groat cost us the game against the warriors… From all reports it was moltzen haha .or perhaps not kicking on the last. And Liam Fulton cost us the grand final the year befor with that cut out pass against the roosters. That's rugby league, shit happens. Bring on the sharks

I liked Gibbs- great D line speed and best low tackling forward in the game- but today's game offers no reward for leg tackling.

WT are the comp's worst wrestlers.

Additionally, Gibbs' go forward is ordinary. I've seen way too many games in the last 5 years with our guys constantly pinned inside our own territory.

We have the most creative hooker, world's best 5/8 and strongest running centre. But when they are continually forced to score points from their own half, they will not win us a comp.

The above, plus the fact Gibbs has maybe 50 first grade games left in him, are the reasons I supported his release.

i feel a little the same way,but i was impressed with his ability to wrap up the ball first man in to a tackle last year.
something this team has struggled with alot in the past.
so definitely a strong base to work from.

I was reading big league today and tim sheens said Adam Blair is going to be used on the edges because he has ball playing skills and he also said he will play up front during game time.
