Wests Tigers have been made aware that player Tim Simona is currently under investigation by the NRL Integrity Unit in regards to allegations of breaches of the rules relating to gambling on NRL matches.

The Club will be making no further comment until the investigation is complete.

Lols that would explain a lot with Tims performances throughout his career. But he hasn't been found guilty of anything yet. So I will just keep on thinking he's just a plain dud !

I agree… It doesn't look good for Simona if they are cancelling his contract straight up rather than standing him down pending an investigation.

Really disappointed to read this. I liked Simona as a player and as a West Tiger. Why on earth would he ruin his whole career like this - man it is soooo dumb!

My worst fears are coming true - Rankin will now be a part of our NRL team for 2017!
