Potential return.
Panthers are likely.

Thoughts?

Loved him but he let me down with his sly ways

Really liked him as a player but can’t see how any teammates could trust him ever again after what he did. I hope his life is back on track but he will struggle to become a professional footballer again.

Not in a playing role at the Panfers..community based

NRL would be highly unlikely to register a contract..

When this bloke has bet on the games he played in and ripped off charities he's basically stamped himself never to play again.

Sounds like a double standard when one of our club captains spent a year in the clink for being someone to within an inch of their life, but gambling on games you are partaking in drills right at the core of the integrity of the game. In social terms, violent offenders, domestic abusers and the like are all deplorable, waaaaaaaaaaay moreso than match fixing and ripping off charities, but in terms of the game integrity, it is far worse as it undermines the game itself.

Ah interesting.
Thanks for clarifying.

I don't see why Panthers would pick him for a "welfare" role, unless they had designs to prepare him for a playing contract in a year or so.

He should join our community programs seeing all the damage he did to our fans and our brand through his actions. Not the Panthers.

Yup, definitely Gould's way of bringing a player back.

I think he and his brother Paul were juniors there before moving to the tigers and then sharks for Paul and unemployment for Tim.

Im a big fan of redemption stories. I was one of the first posters to endorse Russell Packer. I know assaulting another human being is more serious in the scheme of things then throwing a stupid footy game, but gee idk about this one. He also ripped of charities which is a low act. Im not against anyone getting a second chance providing that person can prove they have changed their ways and try to help others. If he could do that the way Packer did i would probably support him. He's gotta put the effort in though.

I forgotten about this yesterday's hero.
I have no sympathy. He knew what he was doing. He is only sorry he got caught.
