Time for the Moltz to return

Fickle lot Wests Tigers supporters never thought Id see the day when "A Time for Moltz to return" thread would appear. Must be shaking his head over this one.

No, leave our halves alone. If they are not dominating this time next year, we are in trouble, but till then they are a work in progress.

Moltzen is not a first grader.

Aaaah…No

Surely you haven't been watching him play in State cup

Most fans are shaking their heads at how Brooks and Moses have played this year. What is wrong with Moltzen?

Leave our halves as they are, you guys want success so fast, it doesn't work like that. Success is basically like a sling shot, you go backwards which is the stage we are currently in, you then let go and move forward, success comes with time not overnight. Moses himself as said it will take time to gel, there are signs but they just aren't there yet.

You do not serve your apprentiship in the top grade he has been brought on way to early. And what he has to say is evaluative ,this is the real world .It is better for it to happen now than latter trust me.

Did Moses play today ?

I saw him earn our only repeat set so Yeah,,,

Which actually should have been a penalty in front as Austin took the drop out 2 metres in front of the goal line…

If it was my call, I would play Moses at 7 and give Moltzen a crack at 6\. Brooks leaks to many points at this stage of his career and his organizational skills have been poor.

Of course we can right off the year and persevere with the kids with the hope next year they are the real deal

Glad your not the coach and yes you can write off this year. What's the point of playing Moktzen he won't win us anything. Get some games into the young guys, take the pain this year.

Unfortunately Milky we are constantly in a developing phase and a lot of us are tired of it. For all Brooks vision and ability , he had the most missed tackles in the NRL last season and has not improved . Moses puts in a few bombs but is largely unsighted in the game.We have to get up to speed now . These guys , or at least one of them, needs to learn the game in NSW Cup. We can't afford the development of these guys or sironen any longer. Well ,we can if you are resigned to a bottom 3 finish this year, which I am not.

I don't know what games you have been watching - maybe Newcastle and you were thinking the orange colours were ours.
Sironen, Brooks and Moses have been playing well. None of them are going to learn anything in the NSW Cup.
Brooks has improved his defense in a great leap. Since when do you get dropped for last years form.
On your assumption Johns, Thurston, DCE etc. all would have been playing NSW Cup in their first years as well.

You obviously don't look at the tackle counts. They are all doing what they are told.

If you are so impatient, maybe you should take a year off and come back when it all comes together.

Oh! and by the way - Moltzen is lucky to be playing NSW Cup.

Maybe he should go back to A grade to learn something.

No way. Moltzen needs to be heading out the door, not being promoted back to FG where he'll shy away from the hard stuff.

Were paying for him THIS year,so whilst the season still has some glimmer of hope left id roll the dice on Moltzen if hes shown any form at all in State cup…in fact, even if he hasnt, hes gotta offer something more than Moses at this particular point of his career.
Realistically we really dont have a lot of options, and staying with the same is unlikely to surprise.

Sums it up really. But people on the forum want instant success. Patience is something SOME on here just don't have. We have the best young halves in the comp but people judge the 20 year olds on a dozen first grade games.

I'm suprised people comparing Bird to Moses. Bird has had instant impact but long term wise Moses is a much more complete footballer.

I,m still trying to get my head around why Blake Austin got the flick, but that deed was probably done by the same idiot that hoisted Korrabete
