Time for WT players to be picked for SOO 3

Wendell Sailor reckons Farah should be brought back in too. Hindmarsh digressed and prefers Ennis.

You cant blame Hindmarsh when you consider they could possibly be team mates for Game 3\. It would've made things very awkward if they are in the same team.

1\. Jarryd Hayne
2\. Nathan Merrit
3\. Timana Tahu
4\. **Chris Lawrence**
5\. Beau Champion
6\. Jamie Soward
7\. Mitchell Pearce
8\. Kade Snowden
9\. Michael Ennis
10\. **Keith Galloway**
11\. Anthony Watmough
12\. Luke O Donnell
13\. Paul Gallen
RESERVES:
14\. Jamal Idris
15\. Tom Leoroyd Lahrs
16\. Nathan Hindmarsh
17\. Tim Mannah

1\. Jarryd Hayne
2\. Nathan Merrit/Josh Morris
3\. Michael Jennings
4\. Chris Lawrence
5\. Brett Morris
6\. Jamie Soward
7\. Mitchell Pearce
8\. Kade Snowden
9\. Robbie Farah
10\. Keith Galloway
11\. Anthony Watmough
12\. Tom Leoroyd Lahrs
13\. Paul Gallen

This team would be a great SOO team in the years to come!

I'd be happy with that side, the changes id possibly make to it would be:

12\. G Stewart - I wouldn't mind if Leoroyd Lahrs was there though
13\. G Bird
14\. L Lewis
15\. L Douglas

I would normally take Gallen over Bird and still would if they instruct him to play his natural game rather then focus too much on aggression and biff which he seems to do in Origin. He seems to lose the plot, make a lot of errors, give away penalties, and use up too much energy trying to be too physical.

Not just Hindmarsh - Fatty looked like he was going to have a stroke and the mere suggestion.

To me B Morris is great at club level but is out of his depth in SOO, in fact you could probably say the same for all the Dragons players in the NSW side. I think they should build the side around these players
Hayne
Pearce
Carney
Jennings
Farah
Watmough

Correct…that should be the core

Sorry, Carney should not be allowed anywhere near the current side (although happy to see the snot belted out of him in game 3). Retain the entire team for game 3.

Next year:

1\. Hayne
6\. Campese
7\. Pearce
9\. Farah

Fill in the rest.

does anyone else agree that tigers should just focus on maintaining our top 8 position? i would much rather see our players get picked in next years game then in a match that has nothing to do with the series against QLD. It would be better if we just wait till next year and get some of our players in for game 1 & 2 where the games still mean something, not game 3 where we just have to clean up the scraps and most likely be the scapegoats for everyone.

Campese is rubbish. He went AWOL in his Origin debut and his club form isn't even consistently good. He folds under pressure far too often and takes some ordinary last play kick options.

I think Gibbs should be in front of Galloway at the moment. His defense aorund the ruck could help stabalise things for the blues.

There two things that i know for sure,

1.The coach has to go

2.we have to have 4 front rowers. I cant believe we replaced White and Weyman with Waterhouse and O'Donell. Honestly, what were they thinking. We had no hope.

Weyman did nothing. Creagh was worse. White actually went okay. I take your point and agree on the props though.

While I always like to see our guys get a run in origin I would rather they don't get selected for game 3\. Why miss a NRL match to be coached by Bellamy in his last match as state coach.

I believe the Farah and Lote will make the Australian 4 nation squad at the end of the year without playing in origin this year. Maybe other tigers (most likely Lawrence, Rhino and Galloway) will make the Australian squad as well if we go far in the finals.

Next year I expect baring injuries the 5 I mentioned above will all play origin.

Gibbs defence and long minutes would make him an ideal origin player. I don't think there is any love for him from the selectors or media (yesterday's telegraph didn't mention him in a list of about 8 frontrowers).

I thought in 2005 he would go on to play origin, then I had my doubts between 2006 - mid 2009 but now i think he is showing that he is ready for that level but is unlikely to get picked.

I agree, who-ever gets picked for NSW team for game three, are going to wear the "brunt" of frustration, if the team loses.
top 8 is far more important.
I would be extremely peed off for instance, if wests-tigers players played in game three, got injured and were out for a few games, therefore reducing wests-tigers chance of winning that game.

no thanks dont want to risk our players for injury in a game that means nothing.. would rather them pay for us and keep them fresh

Totally agree, why risk our players or even lose them for the week on a series that is already gone. May also damage their chances of getting selected next year if they lose the final game, not worth the risk in my opinion.
