Time for WT players to be picked for SOO 3

No tigers had great games today that should see them playing game three.

They were all horible especially Farah and Heighno

I think for our boys its all comign down to this Friday night.

We are playing St George, at st george on ftriday night football, live, free to air for everyone to see in a top of the tabel clash a week before teams are named. If Farah can have a good game he will be 100% in. Lawrence and Heighno are in the same boat - Keith Galloway is not on that boat.

I dont know if Heighno is good enough to play origin. A workhorse inddeed but dont know if he can make the metres an origni player should be able too. Farah and Lawrence would be in my team though.

Could not agree more. Seems coaches of rep teams have far too much say in the team makeup. I still havent forgiven Bennett for the mungrell act he pulled in 05 by not picking Skando for the roos that toured Eurpo. In fact he opted for a seriously out of form Petro when Skando had earned his go. He only took with him one of the premiership winning tigers in Prince and made him sit on the sidelines all tour because he wouldnt sign for the Boncs. Grub act. Bellamy is no better, should be punted. He is the common denominater in all 5 series loses. Heighno , Lawrance and Farah have all earnet their spots in the blues camp each offering better options than their blues counterparts but we see the trend once again away from tigers players. I supose it could be a good thing for us to keep our blokes fresh to give 100% for the tigers but it burns me up that our guys are being treated so disrespectfully by the so called best coach NSW has to offer and the selectors.

Agreed that this Friday should make a difference one way or the other to our boys selection hopes.

However, with the muppets that masquerade as selectors and Mr 'give me an extra million $ and i can be a winner' bellamy as coach I doubt it will.

btw, vote yes in todays telegraph poll, it specifically relates to this

Get over your bias boys - we have no one that deserves a SOO spot.

Farah is struggling for form, Lawrence has been OK at best, and Heigno isnt up to the class - he is a very good 1st grader and that is that. He doesnt have enough impact to be considered at SOO level, he'a toiler.

Galloway would of been some hope but he hasnt had enough runs back from a spell to say

Masterstroke by Sheens, his talking up Farah Heighno Keefy & Lawrence should see them all have big big games on friday night….its not always what happens after origin, its often what happens before.....

Anyone who doubts the advantages playing Origin can have for a Player didnt see Shillington today

he was on a winning team

I suppose I remember the way that playing Origin (in I think a losing team) really benefitted Scott Prince in 04, I think it was. He seemed to really grow in confidence as a player when he came back to us. I'd hope that if Lawrence or Heinington (sic) for example were picked it might have the same effect, to confirm to themselves they were players of huge talent, adn that they could take that confidence into our games.

BTW And like last year I think the players in Game Three will get picked again next year.

you'd hope thats how it would go but we dont know whats going to happen, i really hope robbie, lawrie and heighno get picked. i reckon hayne farah soward and pearce would be the best 4 to lead the side around who have experience and ability to see a win over the qlds next year.

Soo you're saying that Beau Scott deserves to be there? Jamal Idris? What about Michael Ennis?

good joke.

for me and please feel free to tell me i am wrong here (which i aint) we are a bit like the QLD BULLS cricket side they came 2 in both the 1dayers, and sheffield shield table last season and only get 1 player in ryan harris in the aussie squad where as the NSW blues finish well down the table and get 5-6 blokes in my point there is if you wear a blue cap you will play for rickys team you wear a maroon cap forget it, we are like that at the moment daley wont even tip us if we are playing a side that is running last and we are running 1st bellamy just dosent like us so i say stuff em all lets win a premiership like 05 when for memory we had no origan players apart from princess

Not sure what the joke was…...maybe your reply?

Does Ennis deserve to be there over Farah, maybe not - but if its not Ennis it wouldn't be Robbie. I cant believe you fans, people who watch him play every week, think he's in good form. His form of years gone by DESERVED selection, but not this year.

Does beau Scott deserve to be there - No. They picked him because of this belief they had that he can shut down GI - good joke. Lyons and Jennings are the 2 you'd have.

Does Idris deserve to be there - No way known, but that doesnt mean you'd pick Lawry. Why have a specialist centre on the bench at all as they did with Jamal.

I think with NSW its not a matter of who deserves to be there now….they have to try and look at who should be there for the next few years, pick em and stick with em.
Deserving - no
Potential - yes
