Time to give Woodsy and Teddy a break

For those defending woods, anywhere where people represent an organisation as a leader they need to respect that role and know when to shut their mouth.

If Woods was in the corporate world he would have been marched to the front door month ago. If he was in an organisation like the bulldogs he would have been stripped of the captaincy and maybe worse.

You either have no idea about professional working environments or you are conveniently choosing to excuse his behaviour out of some pathetic idea of what is right, even thogh you would never tolerate the same from a colleague or employee.

Tomorrow you will all get your chance to sit down with a box of tissues and have a cry with poor old woodsy when he sheds a tear on the telly to further humiliate the organisaton that made him a success.

If you understand business you will understand fans are part of a group known as stakeholders. Members are the closest thing a club like ours has to shareholders, albeit with very restricted rights. They have every right to give it to people who discredit the organisation they love. Make no mistake, woods has made things up and distorted the truth for his own gain. That's it. End of story. Your opinions are irrelevant, and your insistence that others should conform to your idea of suitable behaviour is laughable.

I did not watch it ….. For me it's very hard to get enthusiastic with three included in the side.
I congratulate the team for a great effort and the fans for turning up.
But for me it's just not there .... until they are well and truly away from the club.

Yep. You never criticise your own organisation.

spot on!

The fans greatest platform, the one they pay for, is attendance at the park. To say they only have the right to be heard only in favorable situations is North Korean type censorship.

A very bizarre way to represent the club, community, members, sponsors, fans, the brand, etc etc as club captain..

I'm just sick of them talking. I have been since the Benji days.
These guys rule the roost and don't want to be accountable when things go pear shaped.

Woods might be the best bloke on earth, and I wish him the best with his wealthy future, but when it comes to talking about the club I love and will still support next year, he deserves to have his mouth stitched shut.

i would go as far as saying they faked injury because of the signs
of our beloved fans displayed in the crowd ,
WHO DO NOT ENJOY SEEING OUR CLUB BEING DRAGGED
IN THE MUD.

Wow how proud those 'fans' must be :unamused:

id say they'd be EXTREMELY proud

Should've been wearing Sharks jerseys then. I guess they're happy their team won.

no , i would never wear a sharks jersey and im sure those who had those banners up
would never wear a sharks jersey either , but we sure as hell have every right to
express how we/they feel towards those who drag our club through the mud for so long
and then decide to leave the club and then play like they're not interested.

Damn, sounds like I missed out! I love a good boo, and can't wait to get to a game to boo the crap out of the small 3, particularly woods

WOW !

there are some absolute sooks banging away at their keyboards in this forum hey !

given : players leaving a club for whatever reason shouldnt bag the club
given : if you say you want an immediate release you should go
given : the dragging out of the contracts was messy and completely unnecessary
given : fans are going to be hurt the most as they have an emotional relationship with the club

BUT, to carry on like some of you are here… your embarrassing yourselves and the club.

when the club was jumping from one mess to another and being the circus it has been for the last few years most normal people felt... man i hope this dosnt effect the team...man i hope these kids dont get scared off etc etc etc

well guess what - it all did.... and it did bigtime.
so much so the club has lost 3 players it shouldnt have.

But to carry on like you are.... get some bandages for your busted toes... get some super glue for the furniture youve kicked and probably broken and slap some vodka on your faces to snap out of it.

if you think booing 3 players dosnt effect the rest of the team or the club as a whole you are deadest missing some screws.
if you think carrying on like that and within forum is a good look for the clubs and its fan base... yeah you're missing some screws.

the sad thing is, when these 3 move on...some of you sad cases wont miss a beat and find your next target ! !

Ok bye now

All your "givens" prove the point of the fans. I'm sorry if your feelings are hurt.

I've sat through some pretty bad times at the footy, and never booed my own team before, I didn't boo Teddy for wanting to go to Canberra. I probably wouldn't even give it to him now. Even woods, I would rather he was met with silence than boos.

But don't judge the fans, they are the only reason the game exists.

You like to act like you're in the know, from your first post, until now. Maybe you know a bit about footy, maybe you know a bit about the Tigers, but you don't understand much else. These sad cases you refer to are the lifeblood of the game, not leeches like you who think player's egos are worth more than the punters.

Go back to my previous post. Especially the bit about your opinion being irrelevant.

I can't read what you wrote, it isn't close enough to English, I'm sure it was very clever.

The fans are entitled to do what they want.
