Time to give Woodsy and Teddy a break

Has there been any talk re:Woods Leichhardt farewell. I'm starting to fear he might actually stay.

I don't think players normally get a farewell just because they're leaving for another club.

Heard nothing for a fair well for Woods or Ted , so that's abit strange , our new boy Josh got one from the Dogs and they are a basket case

On the end of the game we will just move on , no point in giving it to them as they have made there beds
Woods would be crapping himself as the Dogs look like they are in deep crap ,
Woods sitting next to a James on 360 and knowing his arrival is pushing a contracted player out , Woods just grins and James almost lost for words , James will be the winner out of this , if he signs with the Dragon , he wins , us he wins , the Dogs are going Down to the bottom ,
Teddy , going to the Roosters while they are on a high , they also have bad lows look out Teddy it's coming

We just need to beat the Warriors and cheer our boys home , never know we could move up a spot

There might be a sign at the game for Woods and Tedesco to run through, don't know about a lap though.

One thing about the Dogs, unfortunately they don't often just wallow near the bottom for a long time. They won't just be waiting for a magic occurrence to get them back up in the middle of the comp at least c once they sort out their cap problems they'll be working on getting up the ladder.
There's a couple of players that they will probably have to let go. Some they'll miss , some they won't. And probably a change of Coach. , but they won't be content to just sit and twiddle their thumbs.
I dislike them intensly, but, if Des goes, they won't be there for long.

The club wants to "do something special" for Woods and Turdesco but they both insisted they want to go quietly….

A lot of people on the forum and at the games have been giving these two a hard time since the news that they hadn't taken up the contract offers. Yeah, they didn't contact the club about their decision, which was pretty bad but, as they have both said, they haven't made up their minds yet as to what they will be doing next year. On the weekend they both showed that they are still willing to put in 110% to their performances for this club. I don't know about you but they all looked pretty passionate on the field from my perspective. Everyone assumed that they were leaving because they read it in a newspaper or on a rumour website but, they have both stated they haven't signed anywhere else yet. They said they weren't ready to make up their minds at this moment. A lot of the controversy has come from journalists and rumour websites. Truth is we really don't know what is going on with these guys. It wasn't smart of Woods to meet with Bulldogs players before the match but, I don't think Woodsy is the smartest bloke to begin with. Anyway, fans will do what they will at the games but, I think they have shown that they deserve a bit of respect while they are still wearing the clubs jersey.

*Sigh* How time flies…...

Probably thought it'd be more likely that the crowd would peg dog turds and frozen chickens at them.

Farah got a send off because it was the club who told him he was unwanted, the same way Josh Reynolds got a send from the Dogs, because it was the club that moved on from Josh. They get send offs, partly because they left not of their own choosing and are sympathetic figures. How do you give a send off 2 players who refused to commit to the club for 12 months. One of which was the captain who announced his departure in a taped interview throwing the club under the bus, and hinting that he'd throw even more dirt once he was gone. Players like him deserve nothing.

Theses guys petulant attitude is no longer our problem from late Sunday night onwards. I consider this a great fathers day gift.

We should celebrate them leaving. We definitely though shouldn't be giving them any sort of send off.

At the end of the day,we will still have a team to support in 2018 and beyond. Players come players go. Okay we have lost three of the so called big four, but let's face it they did not get us to the finals. I don't care what they say and from next week they will be a target for my sprays when ever I see them run around.

Just looking forward to 2018with guarded optimism
