Time to move on boys and girls

I think these threads will pop up until next season. Its like you have broken up with your girlfriend but she is still living with you until she finds a new place.

once they move out all will be well in tiger town.

I think most of us have moved on and have high hopes for 2018\. But that doesn't mean we can't feel jaded that Tedesco played the game of his life last night when he has dogged it for at least the last month for us. And before anyone says "Its hard to look good in a mediocre team", rubbish. That's how he made his name. in 2015 and 16 he either scored or had a hand in over 50 tries. 2015 being the year we came second last playing Taylorball. And we have a better side on paper in '17 than we did in '15\. He's not having a go for us, he's checked out. It's that simple.

100% agree here. As much as I enjoyed seeing NSW thump QLD it was still a bit gut wrenching seeing Teddy play one of the best games of his career. He's saving himself for Origin and next season and not giving a hoot about WT anymore.

Don't really support anyone in Origin, i just enjoy the spectacle. If i supported NSW though, i would not support them anytime these 2 jerks run out in the jersey. I will never support another team they are apart of, including the Tigers for the rest of 2017\. This is not a choice, i am mentally and physically incapable of doing it. Bring on 2018 and the players who want to be here.

Ok, I think it is time to move on now and close all the threads referring to the 'fab four' (or three now). Three of them have made their decisions and are moving on. Teddy we will miss the most, the reason he is leaving was made most obvious after last nights origin game, he no longer had confidence that the tigers could offer him a team in the future that would provide him a platform to stardom. He excelled behind a dominant pack, good luck to him after this year, the job at hand now is to find a replacement. Mitchell Moses basically left for the same reason, but did it with less class. He too, will be more comfortable behind a dominant pack, that is to say that parra can remain dominant over the next couple of years, otherwise it will be back to rocks and diamonds for him. As for woodsy, he just wanted to play with his mate, he will toil all day for you, but he is not the kind of prop that will win a premiership for you. All three decided they could not wait any longer for a tiger resurgence. Time will tell whether they made the right decision, but I think it is time to close the chapter now and get on with the rebuild. Let's judge them game by game while they are still playing for us, as always have, but leave behind the jilted lover act and concentrate on the players that want to be here with us for the rebuild. They deserve our support and recognition, improvement is on the way, it's about time we had some positivity back into this forum, the players we acquire or develop over the next two years may well be just as good if not better than the ones that have moved on.

Stop trolling Issac :roll

GoldCoastTiger - you make me laugh. The Tigers winning means less to you than bagging the club. What a joke.

Not sure where you get that from
After putting up with 50 years of having a fair bit of garbage from firstly Wests and later from theWts, I have supported them and appreciated the very rare good times that we get occasionally.
I hate it when they lose, and Have heard all the excuses over the years when we are terrible.
I'm not interested in any other clubat all. But I love seeing players like Tedesco at their best. And appreciate how good they are. ( even though hes decided that he's given the club all the timethat he's prepared to , it's his decision, too bad,
You wouldn't have a clue about what means anything to me or anyone else here.
But I love the game and while I at times , think that its stupid to keep supporting this club. i Would love to see another premiership come this way,
I just hope that someday we will able able to attract players like Tedesco to actually come here.

So because YOU don't want to discuss them (despite creating a new thread discussing them) then no one else should either? How arrogant. Read the thread Kul created about a week ago. It applies to you.

I think it is more about discussing the players that we still have, have purchased, or will get in the near future. Tedesco, Woods and Moses are not, or will not be with us next year, so there is no point in continuing to talk about them.

We all hope that they will play their best for us for the rest of the season, but we also need to discuss our new "big three or four or five" that will help us in the next few years.

The way I see it is pretty simple. **I've moved on** and I can't wait until they move on as well.

I will though forever consider these guys as completely useless human beings and I have no respect for them whatsoever. If I choose to comment on how poorly these guys have represented and treated the club who gave them an opportunity, paid them a fortune and helped them get to the level they are now at I think that is a fair call.

I now have some players to put on the biggest dogs in the game / most hated players list. Some people hate Fifita. I like Fifita. Some people hate Hayne. I can agree with that sentiment. I hate Woods, Tedesco and Moses. You can agree with me or not. If you honestly think though that these three guys have acted with any class whatsoever I think you are delusional.

Nah ya haven't..the past 20 or so posts attest to that including this one… as will the next 30 or so...I don't think you could even go 1 day without posting about the 3 amigoes...

I'm over it. It's just like a nasty divorce. Hate them for life but you move onto the next divorce.

If you keep bring up your ex-wife with your current wife I can see why…

You might have something here. I'll think it through.

I agree that it is time to stop going on about the mouldy 3 and move on to 2018\. Can someone contact the NRL and ask them to call the season off and declare the tigers co-premiers?
If not I will continue to support the club and spew vitriol at the senior players that have abandoned and denigrated the club

  Yeah, that'll fix them won't it!! They'll really be sorry now.
The earlier post about ex wives is really appropriate at this time.

Dear fellow forumers,

As painful as it was to watch Teddy and Woods kill it in origin it definetly is a bitter sweet feeling.

Things need to be put in perspective and the realiity is this.
We are crying foul over losing our 2 most promising juniors that the club has produced ever but the club has invested so much in them, so much so to the detrement to the overall side.

What is forgotten in all this that making that decision years ago to try and grow a succesful team from this group of very talented juniors has affected not only those players but our overall team success.

Because we are not a team of sustained success like the Bulldogs, Roosters, Broncos, Storm we have unfortuantely been paying overs for this group for many years.

We have finished in the last quarter of the comp since 2006 8 of the 10 seasons since then. The failed decision to build a future around our fab 4 has ultimately led those 2 players, 3 if you count moses, who I have no doubt will be up there with the elite by this time next year to be looking for stronger teams to join to enable them to completely grow as players.

And the bitter sweet part is the only way we get to a point of being a regularly competitive team is to focus on a more balanced side, devoid of standout individuals.
Because of this, moving forwards possibly for the next 5 years at least we will have a team that should contend in the finals year on out. That is what we've all been begging for anyway isn't it?

Maybe one day we will have the right reputation among the game to be able recuit and retend the best young players into the fold and they contribute to the success of the club, in regards to that, I think we are doing quite alright with young Suli.

Look at the outlay of players we have mangaged to pick up from those 3 salaries, 4 if you include Rob.
It will set us up for years.

As far as calling them turncoat, dogs, cats, heartless whatever it's not warranted.

We still have nine months until next year's comp starts and so much focus has been on that.
This team this year still needs our support and all the players involved.
Hopefully Ted and Arron take this renewed confidence back into the next couple of games with the club.

And as I am currently following Moses games with now Parramatta I will be doing the same with Woods and Ted next year with their respected clubs, until we play them that week of course, I have no grudges and I just enjoy watching the best players in the game battling it out.

The game is just a game to these guys. Why is it a livelihood to us?
Enjoy the game for what it is, Support the Tigers and Support the players that the Tigers have helped grow.

Not sure about that needaname. Support the players that publically stated they are leaving our club because it is not successful enough? No thanks.
Obviously hoping they do the right thing and play their guts out for WT every week until the end of this season but if they are going to play half-arsed for us then IMO they don't deserve support and the vitriol is warranted.
Play with respect for our club until the end of the year and fans will most probably show the same respect towards Woods and Ted.
It's a 2- way street.

I don't know if I can be bothered breaking it down.
The players are not dogging it.
If any thing they are doing too much and trying too hard.
I feel both Tedesco and Woods have spent the whole year trying to prove to everyone that they are doing everything they can for the tigers and as a result over playing their hand.
Moses was different. Since the club decided not to sign moses, he was basically forced to be Brooks supporting player. And you appreciate that if your expected to play out the year not playing your natural game that that could make you mentally drained. We had 2 halfbacks in our team the reality is one had to go.
As far as effort goes, Moses still through himself into every tackle until he left, he was far from the worst on ground in that souths game.
All I'm saying is the black white and gold glasses need to be taken off for some, their is a bigger picture and you can't hate the players for knowing that if they stayed together the result would be the same on going.
Notice how they all went to different clubs even though there was a lot of talk about being a packaged deal.
