So you’re saying Madge is a better coach with a squad that is not his and is working on a reduced cap?

We’ve gone backwards under his roster and with a full cap. He had two years to work out what he needed and choose poorly

Did he really chose to have injuries to some of his top 17 this season,did he know Hastings would be suspended for 3 weeks didnt he have to swap and change rookies into different positions such as Star a known centre into a fullback role,Madden a fringe first grader to fill in for our marquee halfback on 700,00 a year ,he played teams for weeks with reserve grade players to field a competative side every week and most on here praised their efforts under any amount of duress...please be real mate and get off the sack the coach mode just to support your agenda...It wouldnt matter if the Lord Jesus Christ coached these fellas this year .....he wouldnt have gotten better results...

This is the first comment I’ve made around Madge in months. I’m questioning what you are saying. I’m not in any sack the coach mode. I can see pros and cons for both decisions. Be realistic and look at it from both angles.

Also Thanks for this years reasoning. Can you explain last year?

Madge knew what he was getting into when he signed up.
If he didn't, then he's an idiot.
The blame falls on him from Day 1

Yes I certainly can...do you remember the OLD Madge trains us to hard,the high paid players trying to knife Madge in the back because he tried to change the culture,attitude and work ethics of the NRL squad...he has lost the dressing room,had Mbye on big money and not playing to his paycheck,kept sticking to Brooks as the general of the team for minimal results...is that enough for now...

So your logic is to compare 9 games of the Titans (they beat us) to 4yrs of us declining each year?

No mate I posted what was written in the media...emphasising that the Titans dont get the attention we are getting...ok they made the finals last year,we have had injuries etc but no one mentions that they need to sack the coach...wouldnt you ask why they can make the finals last year and yet LOSE 8 out of 9 so far this year...

Because they made the finals last year thats the reason why. He has some grace probably this season and if they start next season poor he will struggle to be the coach.

Most coaches are lucky to survive 2 seasons losing let alone 4 regardless of how passionate they are.

Madge has been handed alot of excuses and reasons why. I’m still yet to see any real player development of players taking a step up from reserves into NRL. So far majority have all failed under Madge. We are moving into a development club, my concern is Madge development track record isn’t great with us despite plenty of opportunities to bring in young talent.

So one of your examples about why it’s not Madge’s fault they performed poorly is because he kept picking an a player to lead the team who wasn’t up to it. So now his own bad decisions are a reason he deserves better treatment.

I was on the fence about all of this but you’re helping me see maybe getting rid of him is the right thing to do.
