Storm were over the cap, but I'm almost certain there is nothing the NRL can do from stopping all the players from taking a pay cut to play together next season.

No, Melbourne arnt taking the NRL to Court for being over the Cap. They are taking them to Court under Contractual Law, as the NRL didnt issue the Storm with a Breach Notice and give them time to remedy the Breach…
