I am getting a bus full of mates to head down to the game on the 7th March - Picking up from at a few stops along the hwy from Caboolture down to the game - stopping at a pub fo a few cold ones for an hr before heading to the game - bus straight home after the game - 6pm kick off so a great time - and not too late home
If anyone is keen I can always get a bigger bus
Cheers

Roysta59,what a great idea,I wish I didn't live about a 14 hour trip to Brissy otherwise you could count me in,I hope you and the guys have a terrific day out and I will be cheering on the great WTs,I will have a couple of beers at home and wishing I was with you…

All the best mate and be safe.....

Watto and Happy said they would pick everyone UP…....!

Roysta59,if you do take Happy you had better take two buses, one for Happy on his own just I case we get beat, can you imagine the trip home with him on the bus cursing everyone from the commentators down to the ball boys…ha ha..

Geo,if Watto and Hap pick everyone up,do they have to put in for petrol money or will Hap and Watto do it for love of the forum friends….

Hey Roysta, Happy, TrueTiger, and other lads for that matter

What seating are you arranging?

I've seen a deal where I can take my young bloke for free and you can actually organise TITANIUM seating - which is on the halfway line - for $58 bucks.

Anyone else bringing their kid(s) was thinking we could monopolize a fair chunk of the best seats in the house.

Just a thought.

Probably going to travel down from my sister's place in Brisbane boys and drive back after the game

Just sorting out the last of the stuff today and will book tickets tomorrow

Quick question Gold Coast people , of the bus stops for the free transport which is the safest parking spots with the best/most parking ??

We stopped opposite Pacific Fair last year but parked about 1 km away and walked

Don't think kids are going to be too keen to walk so far at 9.00 pm ish

UD,hope you go and have a good time with the forum boys and your young fella as I said to Roysta,I live 14 hrs away, one way but if I could be there I would with bells on…

Have a great time UD,maybe sometime during the season, some of us could meet at a game at say Campbelltown, wouldn't that be a day and a half...heaven help the natives if it happens....

I did the same deal last season , was on the 40 metre line and with 5 adults and three kids it was $144

Least this year we won't get baked to death , probably just 3 inches of rain

I'll wait until tomorrow to finalise then as well champ. It's the Titans, I'm hardly worried about the seats selling out.

One option could be to park at Helensvale station where there is a stack of parking, and train it to Robina - Station is only about 500 metres from the stadium or so, and the train trip from Helensvale is only about 10 minutes.

Happy, if you are driving from Bris and planning on taking public transport to the stadium, definitely agree with UD about the train, just park at Helensvale/Coomera/Nerang etc and catch the train there and back again. No train ticket needed, just have the game tickets on you. Much better than the park and ride option.

Happy could also stop in at Dreamworld …he spends a lot of time there...
