Todd Carney - Gone!

Some people really don't want to be helped, and carney has shown this over how many chances? The game doesn't need him, but I reckon the bunnies do!
 
Rabbs really gave me the sh!ts last night with his attitude….its these kinds of appologists that allow people like Carney to get away with murder.

Fatty and Freddy were no better...Dilluded idiots. Good on the big marn for sticking to his guns and telling it like it is.

Boo hoo..his career may be over. Who's bloody fault is that? Rabbits is a moron.
 
I was annoyed to with the "we should take care of him" and all that rubbish.

Many people would give anything to play NRL and dont get a chance, he got his chance and blew it, not once but several times.

I would have loved to have played NRL and missed out, like thousands of other hopefuls who trained hard, made sacrafices all dreaming of doing what Todd Carney got to do for 6 years, but weren't good/lucky enoough to play just 1 NRL game, no one feels sorry for me or all the others, yet Carney who got his and my dream and threw it away, and im supposed to feel sorry for him, get stuffed I should feel sorry for him, get stuffed we owe it to him to look after him, he stuffed up and now can get a real job like the rest of us who missed out.

If a bloke working for me stuffs up over and over again cause they cant follow rules, am I obligued to look after him, no way, I sack him, hope he gets it together and can succeed in the future.
 
Personally I don't care where Todd Carney goes, perhaps the next Space Launch to the International Space Station would be a good place for him, not much grog up there, as long as he doesn't show his face at Wests Tigers.
 
Everyone is entitled to a second chance…but i think Todd is now on his what '4th' chance...you cannot help those who don't want to help themselves...no matter who you are or how much money you have...
 
The roosters were very patient with Carney…I understand they gave him cart blanche access to all the professional help he needed...but at the end of the day...there needs to be a will within to want to be helped...and it appears Carney has yet to find that!.....so no matter who he plays for next, unless he finds that will, he will end up the same way...Good Luck to him in whatever he does and for his sake I hope he finds the will he so desperately needs!!!
 
The worst thing in life is wasted opportunities… Todd Carney will look back on his chances and have a whole heap of a regret! Shoulda, coulda, woulda....

Everyone has skills and abilities is something, one of the things I hate the most is when people waste this! I have no pity whatsoever for him.

The notion that 'game' owes it to him is utter BS. This the exact problem, he thinks everything is owed to him instead of working hard for it!

He's made his bed, let him lay in it!
 
And maybe now he's realising that…a lot of NRL clubs have slammed the door in his face, can't go overseas because of prior convictions...guess it's back up to timbacktoo too play...a waste...a real waste of talent...
