Todd Payten names team to play Roosters in Grand Final Quali

On a side note and not sure on the first name of the young roosters prop. Evans?? Was really impressed by him in the semi. Big unit with some serious leg drive, and took 3 or 4 blokes to get him down almost everytime. Looked like a very good young prospect. Not sure of his work through the season at all. But was very impressed watching him play last weekend.

The Roosters boast the best front row in the comp IMO. The two front rowers ran for 370 metres last weekend against the Warriors, they've destroyed the Tigers up the middle this year.

If the Tigers can nullify the front row, they'll win this IMO.

Let's also hope all the crap that is going on with the NRL teams doesn't impact their performance on Saturday.. Same for BRET

Hopefully all players see it as a huge chance to impress with all the comings and going

In both games this year, I feel we also got caught up in some personal stuff… We need to be the more professional team this Saturday, stick to the game plan and carve out our meters. This is the game that Jacob needs to be patient and wait for his time to go to the line.

C'mon Tiger Cubs!!!

Watched both games & they were just too strong for us …Coach Taylor had the right game plan both times. It was after last Roosters game that Payten made a couple of significant changes and since then we have not lost. Roosters play a similar power game to Dogs so let's hope we can do the same job tomorrow as we did against Dogs 2 weeks ago

cmon tigers, against the dogs you guys weren't intimidated by a much bigger side and a similar style of play will be most likely be used by the roosters today.

good luck boys

We need to get off to a good start or not let them get a handy lead on us today. We were lucky against the Dogs two weeks ago that they didn't put more points on us in the first half considering the field position they had. Koro scored a lucky try on the stroke of half time that changed the momentum of the game. We need to limit the offloads from their big props today & have a similar defensive effort that we showed against the Dogs because last time we played the Roosters they scored some pretty soft try's. We have to some how get Koro more involved than he was two weeks ago as he looked dangerous every time time he was utilized. We need Miller to step up big time & try to play an expansive game, so too run their big forwards around on what looks like being a hot day today. If we can stay with them, we seem too get a lift when Santi, Brown & Paasi come on. It's just a matter of the boys sticking to Payten's game plan. Good luck boys
